Yes! And of course I have! The Promise/Heaven's Promise is one of my favorite daily dramas, although my absolute favorite daily is Temptation of Wife. Lee Na-Yeon was badass in her revenge. And Lee Yuri... what an actress!

Dare I say that this is one of THE *BEST* daily dramas in recent years that I've watched? The last one I genuinely watched while watching live was Vengeance of the Bride. That was 3 years ago. This script writer is either a madwoman or a genius. Maybe both. Because, where do I even begin? The way fortune changed for JI and her allies. The character development (mainly for Mi-Ran and Yu-Kyung...) The theme (and the drama's title) coming full circle, too?
SR's true colors are revealed: she's a miserable, pathetic, lying bitch! And not that smart either, which is why everything is falling apart for her. And she can't manipulate anyone anymore. She reminds me of a parrot: she says the same lines over and over again, expecting the same results. Then she throws a fit... repeat. Don't you ever get tired, SR?
I see 3 possible endings for her: life imprisonment, locked up in an asylum, or dead. I'm betting she'll die (and I really hope so!) It's so wonderful to see karma hitting her, GC, and the Hwang coven this bad. And JI has basically stooped low, but for a good cause. I'm excited to see how everything ends!

I like reading your comments. The revenge starts in episode 20-ish, gets better in episode 47, and REALLY kicks off in episode 63. Just keep watching, it's worth it.

Even in other revenge dramas they do this. Makeover and a glow-up thanks to a benefactor. INTERNATIONAL revenge drama trope.
But usually for dailies, it's more of a budget issue than a casting issue lol I've seen body swaps and plastic surgery (in the case of Temptation of an Angel, where the protagonist was recast- but it made sense in the plot!)
I've also seen this "twin" trope used in another drama, I think it was Queen of Ambition. Wife Returns has twin FLs where the cold-hearted one takes the place of the good twin FL who got killed, for revenge. Unsubbed but pretty good so far.
When I watched this I think in my opinion is that the FL is a miscast like she don't look suitable in this drama…
She is 41 😭 plenty of actresses play FL roles and they're older than that... Choi Myung-Gil is her 60s and still getting lead roles! Also, I think JSY looks pretty good for a 41 year old.
