But nothing will ever top Temptation of Wife... (yes, FL forgave the evil 2nd FL [NOT the husband, thank GOD] at the end, but she already completed her revenge by then.) I think The Promise also had revenge right up to the end.

Yessss. Both along with the writing were just terrible in those dramas.
I liked Vengeance of the Bride, it was the last good daily drama from KBS2 for a while (till Cinderella Game) and the FL actually fought for herself... although there's QUITE a few stuff I'd change in it lol

Also, Seo Joon-Young was good in The Promise, he played the evil and ambitious ML. The 2nd ML (Park Yoon-Jae) never impressed me and I personally never liked him till I saw his performance here. Dude needs to stop being typecasted. 😂 GIVE HIM MORE VILLAIN ROLES! If you despise GC, then he's definitely doing his job. I'm neutral on Do-Yoon, though.
