*She, the screenwriter is a woman. Right now I'm watching Wife Returns (2009 daily drama) and I love it (the rich & smart twin is the one taking revenge...), I loved The Promise, but only because the FL ACTUALLY grew and had some brains, Queen of Ambition is one of my all-time favorite k-dramas.

At this point I'm basically watching no ongoing daily dramas. Dropped Red Pearl, DNFed Our Happy Days, and basically dropped this one too. I never thought this day would come. 😂😭

Yup, I watched Pink Lipstick (alright), Second Husband (good enough), Third Marriage (disliked), and now this one (hate it!)

I don't like the way they're discussing suicide at ALL in this drama 😭 but it was great to see that bully get a taste of his own medicine! And now Yi-Jae is reborn as a BABY!!!! This is gonna be a tough reincarnation to watch... 😬

To me Hwa-Young is the real main character, but you know daily dramas love making the rich 2nd FL evil, of course. I'd rather have seen SR take revenge than JM. BH seems slightly more interesting as a character. He's "the nice guy". Not sure if I'd consider him a Gary Stu. Still boring, but JM is EXTRA dull. Stopped caring about her a long time ago... I hope SR wises up soon!

That chase scene in ep 2 was AMAZING!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 I'm locked in now!

RIP to Chairman Min. He went out like a badass. His death made me a little sad, considering how awful he was... and now people think Yu-Kyung/Jessica was behind it somehow. Ugh, leave her alone! 🙄

And the villain era starts! This is a very makjang-esque sageuk... then again, it's a harem/political drama too lol

Agreed. I didn't mind her being a spoiled brat, but taking away her craftiness? That was one of the things I loved about her. I honestly can't see myself finishing this drama- it's on hold for me right now.

Well SR used to be smart, but the writers ruined her character too for the sake of drama, and to prop boring ass JM up.

Because it's a daily drama and they're usually 100+ episodes long 😭 I recommend watching the important episodes (episodes 1 to 10), skipping some of the filler, and watching the important parts, mainly the revenge arc (it's satisfying.) After that, just get to the ending & last episodes
