Questions:1-Is it a prerequisite for the leads to have no chemistry AT ALL in a daily?-the leads in The Third…
Not all dailies have non-chemistry leads. It's just that the acting is a lot different (and acting, I feel like, usually determines the chemistry.) The actors here are quite good, but some characters just don't mesh well with others.
EDIT: This is mainly a revenge drama. Romance is NOT the priority here, which is good. I like it when the main characters aren't derailed by romance, which ruins their revenge.
Lee Hyo Na yay!!!!!Can someone explain the plot for, I don’t really understand it
According to @yoon:
"Cha Jeong Won, who embarks on a dangerous life of lies to seek revenge for her father, who is falsely accused of murder, and her biological mother Han Hye Ra, who abandoned her. Despite Cha Jeong Won inheriting a natural talent for drawing and design from her mother, she is branded the daughter of a murderer and lives a miserable life until she decides to exact revenge with lies and becomes the daughter-in-law of the wealthy family of the Geonhyang Group. Her biological mother is the new wife of the chairman of the group and also now the vice president.
After Han Hye Ra reunites with her husband Jin Tae Seok, who she abandoned in their younger days due to poverty, she rejects natural ties and abandons her husband and daughter to pursue her own desires. She gets embroiled in conflict as she confronts her biological daughter now turned daughter-in-law, who has embarked on a dangerous, false life to seek revenge on her."
These recent episodes were SO good... my jaw dropped when Yoon-Hee called Ms. Homeless a "money-crazed bitch"! I can't believe she said that! And that they actually cursed in the drama!
I’m still Team NoooooooooBut that scene set it up very well.
OHHHHH! Okay! This took me WAY too long to get 😭 my mistake, these family ties are complicated. So Jae-In and Do-Yun aren't blood-related... so their relationship wouldn't be questionable either? (Other than the fact that JI is a divorcée, which shouldn't even matter.)
This reminds me of Red Shoes, Apgujeong Midnight Sun, Unknown Woman, Witch's Game, and I think Pure Pumpkin Flower. A little bit of Snow White's Revenge here too.
Thanks for the summary! It seems like the FL is gonna be a grey character. Am I right?

But Miran and Chairman Kang are siblings. So are YH and Patrick. Patrick + Miran = SW. Chairman Kang + Jayoung = JI. YH + dead father = DY & Dohee. (I can't remember which sibling was older.)
So wouldn't JI and DY be second cousins, or am I missing something here?

Yeah, the writing of the second half has been SO strong with many twists... something may happen that's the least expected.
