It's the tropes that make it similar. The drama's plot this reminds me of is Dangerous Woman (if Kang Se-Ri IS related to Jae-In somehow.)

I think it's very much the script that's the problem here, rather than some of the acting. The 2nd ML has always been bad at acting lol

I really didn't like her comeback either... 1, it should've been a full year or 2 (the writer was clearly lazy), and 2, I didn't like the make-up. But at least she was happy at the end.
