I guess I could view it as karma for JW's more "villainous" actions in the first half + an obligatory downfall arc (as I like to call it.) I'll just step back and read recaps for now and watch the previews.

I usually dislike meet cutes in daily dramas, but I hope this one goes well. Between the twins, I love Seo-Rin more for sure, but my fave is Hwa-Young right now.

If this were a Japanese drama, I'm sure the main character would be killed off. Japanese drama and film writers…
Plenty of Korean dramas have killed off their main characters before. That was a big thing in 2000s dramas (especially melodramas, which were extremely popular.) Even more modern dramas have done it and still do.
Sorry to y'all, but I do not like In-Kang, I find him annoying. I also don't give a damn about the romance. I do love how the characters are written though- everyone's flawed and ambiguous somehow and we have a villain FL. Of course typical k-drama fans would hate this drama lol
In seo hyun joo aka the writer of the third marriage, second husband and pink lipstick, we trust.
So far this is shaping up to be pretty good... out of those dramas, I wasn't a big fan of The Third Marriage. I liked Second Husband and Pink Lipstick, though. She also wrote An Angel's Choice and Mina.
Looks like the prologue is over. Also, Ok-Hee and Tok-Hee are AWFUL names... whoever suggested them to Suk-Hee set her up LMFAOOOO. Like I said, I expect Dong-Seok to show up with a new American/Western identity or alias. He's not dead. Hwa-Young reminds me of a worse version of Cheon Mi-Ja (the FL in A Bird That Doesn't Sing.) I loved Mi-Ja so I like it. Suk-Hee annoys me... her voice pisses me off to NO end for some reason lol
So Jang-Mi is the twin adopted by Suk-Hee's best friend, that, I didn't expect. Seo-Rin becomes Hwa-Young's daughter. Suk-Hee jumping off the cliff while being threatened by Kang-Hyuk & the gangsters reminded of the mom in Meant To Be who sacrificed herself for the FL as a baby. I think Suk-Hee will survive but from what I saw, she'll have an intellectual disability? I'm excited to see Eun-Jung! And I definitely wanna see her playing a villain, so her portrayal as Ma Seo-Rin should be great to see!
This drama is definitely fulfilling my expectations for daily revenge dramas so far... I just hope I don't lose interest like I tend to do with MBC dailies. 😂 I can never finish them!

I also wish it lasted longer, I wanted to see Jung-Won become a full villain. But I'm fine with her being an anti-heroine, too...
