I am sure that is cause people are confusing Korean age with international age.
They're using Korean age in the drama. Saet Byul is currently 22 years old, the kiss was 3 years ago, so she was 19 years old by Korean age (legal/adult age in Korea). People are icky because she was a high school student kissing an adult man.
Yeah, quite a lot of complaints, but to be fair... Over 1.7 million viewers per episode and there are six of them,…
Maybe I should have been clearer on my initial response, I was saying it's not true that Yoo Jung received preferential treatment at the company (which is clear with the way Sidus has been managing her career all these years) and that caused Kim So Hyun to leave (I think she too, was mismanaged by Sidus and chose to leave). The 'no bad blood' comment was a follow up after I said both actresses' fandom dislike each other, because the actresses themselves are on good term. I wouldn't say both actresses are good friends but they're okay. If I remember correctly, Yoo Jung was mostly talking about Sae Ron on Knowing Bros, but I may have missed it.
I really dislike that most c-dramas only focus on the leading couple in the end. The writers rarely care about…
Well, they're side characters for a reason, I prefer them to stay relevant and get just enough exposure that they do not overshadow the main leads' character development, which I think this drama didn't do well, because everyone else literally has more compelling story/motivation compared to the main leads.

"but according to KSH-fans KYJ was the darling of the agency and received the better roles, which caused KSH to leave."
Not true, it is a well known fact that both actresses' fandom dislike each other and tend to pit them against each other. However, there's no bad blood between them as they share the same circle of friends. Most of Yoo Jung fandom also dislike her current agency, SidusHQ for mismanaging Yoo Jung's career and scandals.
WTF with Changge and Jiang-er.????!!!! %***&&XX [censored swearing]The selfish bimbo just went ahead and poisoned…
It's not the dull part that bothers me, rather the overall depressing tone that I'm getting from the drama, and I can see it continues toward the end from the comments here, it's like the feeling of not seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
The ending doesn't make you cry or anything, just feels 'loose', typical Chinese drama endings.
I don't mind tragic ending, I just don't like ambiguous ending with no proper resolution. I do know that C-dramas are really terrible with their endings, which is something I'm not fond of. Just tell me my Wen Si Yuan and Man Qing make it?

Nope, stuck at episode 33. Honestly it got so depressing I had to start another rom-com to wash it down, waiting till I'm in the right mood to pick it up, probably weekend when I have more time to spare.
Now to discuss the racism part of the show. The world at large needs to stop painting in such specific strokes,…
@Jackie the Penguin "Comedy needs to stop using racial stereotypes for the sake of a punchline. Is the only way illicit laughter to make fun of someone's culture, stereotypical or not?"
I wholeheartedly agree. Comedy at the expense of other people's culture/race is appalling and not funny. However, if some people find that shit funny, then that's on them and I have no right to judge what floats their boats.
@FactChecker "It is a very difficult topic and we are not the ones to judge. Only the Rastafarians or Jamaicans can decide whether it is racism or not."
I agree that this is a difficult topic to discuss as we all have different views and tolerance levels to a certain topic. BUT I believe everyone has a right to feel offended when a certain issue is raised in the most unflattering fashion. My issue is never in Dal Shik being racist (I don't think he's racist per se), rather how they painted Dal Shik's character. I don't care if Dal Shik loves dreadlocks and wants to wear it, or if he's a pervert and into perverted Jamaican song, I care that he's being painted in negative stereotypes associated with other race than his own. I don't think I need to be Rastafarians or Jamaicans to feel offended or appalled.
puppy is not the 2nd lead.. the director who is YJ's childhood friend is the 2nd male lead.. as of now puppy is…
Interesting. Since there was never any mention of Saet Byul's mom I figured she's not relevant to the story. I suspect Yeon Joo's mom to be Jang Mi, the singer and Dae Hyun's mom's friend (Dae Hyun's mom claimed this friend introduced Dae Hyun's dad to her) because the scene cut to her right after Dae Hyun's dad was reminiscing about Jang Mi.
I had to google some in between watching, haha, which felt like a chore and I didn't enjoy it.
All fandom can be toxic, that I know.
