Loved loved loved this drama. one of my favorite Taiwanese dramas, it's seriously freaking good and Lan blue's character is one of my favorite male leads, the guy was perfect. The only tiny problem I had was in the last episode when they thought their two best friends had died and they decide it's a good time to have sex, umm no that's actually the worst time to do that. But what he jie tells her the next morning about when they grow old if he dies first not to be sad but if she dies first he won't be sad either cause he will follow her soon, that was seriously swoon worthy, so it kind of made up for them both being assholes to their friends.
Does anyone know if the male lead dies at the end (not godfrey the other one) I read somewhere that he did and that godfrey didnt get the girl once again.
the kiss scene in ep 6, when they were drunk and he just looked at her for a second before kissing her almost made me change who I was shipping, but they had to follow it up by showing trash not only watching it but later watching her sleep. how can anyone not be in love with that guy. I still don't think she ends up with him but I really hope im wrong
this is hands down the best remake ive seen, it stays true to the Korean one (almost every scene was the same with only a couple differences) and it is almost as good as shining inheritance. plus its one of the best stories ever =)
when do hoon's mom first talked about san being dead the look she gave I knew he was still alive but now it was practical confirmed in ep 12 with how sketchy she was. man that family is seriously messed up.
That forced kiss at the end....UGH That was not okay It was good writing tho, showing how effed up their relationship…
glad someone else noticed that, I thought it was so perfect for this show. any other show the almost kiss at the start of the episode would have been a perfect kiss. the mix of sexy and sweet when he had just admitted his fear of losing her, but this show is so intense and messed up that sweet doesn't work yet. but the forced kiss when he couldn't take it anymore was so on character for him. really shows how good the writing is.
For me it's the best drama currently airing. Ji Sung is really good in it and the story doesn't get old and boring…
ohh man ive had a feeling that min hyuk will give up his life to save her at end, after reading that im freaking out even more. but im glad that he mentioned that passionate part of the story will be more focused starting now =)
I cant believe there isnt any comments on how Dong jie is mike he - devil beside you 2.0. Everything about them was the same - hair style, way of dressing, rides bike, plays guitar, amazing at fighting, ganster with a heart of gold etc etc. ...
the last few episodes got a little slow but the first 30 or so were so amazing that this is an easy 10 for me =)
on a side note - im wondering if kim jae won and jo yoon hee never kissed in the series because he just got married in real life (and is having a baby), the romance was so little in the series I didn't think it was needed but I really think that's the reason it wasn't included and not because the romance wasn't a main focus
