Ohhk the synopsis has already made it clear that its a continuation of the 2 moons 2 plus they are some new characters…

I want to address this part in 2 separate points.
1. This is a third season of the drama. No other show tries to recap the entirety of itself every time they shoot a continuation. In 2M2, it was excused by the production wanting us to "get used to the new actors". That doesn't work this time, for obvious reasons.
2. I believe most people aren't complaining that there was a 5 minute recap, since it was so short. What I personally had a problem with (and I'm sure others would agree), is the way they've done the recap. It was confusing for people that has already seen the show, let alone new audience. You just can't explain away 2 seasons in 5 minutes and make it make sense. But most importantly, it was entirely divorced from the story. Why would they all just decide to sit in a circle, telling each other how they've met? Since, you know they were all there!!! As friends, they already knew everything about it!!! You could say they were just trying to tease each other. But if that was the case, they failed miserably. It just wasn't natural, and it added nothing to the story - for both the old fans and new ones.
Basically, it was the cheapest, most horrendous instance of exposition I have ever seen. They would have done way better with just "previously, on 2moons" type of recap at the start.
So does this start were S2 ended or is t indeed yet another replay of S1?
Neither. There's like 5 minute "recap" of some scenes from first two seasons, then it jumps to some time after 2M2 ended (it doesn't pick up where season 2 left off).
The starting episodes of each story are always so good!!! Let's hope this one won't fall flat in the end 💙
I don't trust anyone anymore. This could all be Peak's act as far as I'm concerned. Though his rival looks more like the book example of manipulative antagonist (and he's cute, to boot! 😄). Also, am I the only one who thinks Kla has real feels for Peak?
The start is so bad! Laughable, even. I don't understand why they needed this "recap", since they don't pick up where 2M2 ended. Oh, well... at least it didn't last 4 episodes.
As for the plot line - It's fairly basic, but not horrible! I might even find it interesting on its own. Talking about the new couple, that is. The OG 6 moons are basically a PDA background noise for now.
Acting - bad. Danny seems to be the best one out of them. Maybe even good, but that might be only when comparing him to the rest. And he even has a presence! Very pleasant surprise on my side. Payu is a cutie! Enough to distract me from his newbie-ness. Everyone else is just bland, awkward, and weird. The biggest disappointment for me is Mark. He can not act, twice as much as the others. His character is lowkey bullied, but he can't make me feel for Lomnaw. He's just screaming. And they gave him this ugly ass hairstyle that is popular in thai BLs. And it doesn't suit him, at all.
But I'm a BL fan, so I can forgive bad acting. Even the subpar writing, which could be partially explained by the subtitles (that I am really grateful for, since they came out of nowhere! Anyone knows who's subbing it? 💙). Loud fangirls, we've seen them all. Queers stereotyped to the max? Basically half of the schoolmates. I can get through that. The worst thing in episode 1 is the one MV brought upon themselves completely - the six dead weights. Those guys are meant to be in a relationships, for quite some time now! You're even making them do coupley things for the fanservice!! So why, pray tell, are they so awkward with each other? Did you not have enough money for acting coach and bonding activities? That's fine, most BLs don't. But these are meant to be already established pairs! It wouldn't have happened if you kept the same cast for all 3 seasons. Heck, even two might be enough to make them act more natural around each other.
That said, it might get better. As in many BLs, the actors may look more comfortable in future episodes. Part one wasn't anything to write home about, but I will stick with it till the bitter end 💜
Not bad! We will see how it stacks up to Something In My Room in the long run,but so far it's pretty balanced. Both started more comedic than not and SIMR got progressively darker as it went on. Both had plot holes and confusing rules, especially surrounding the supernatural aspect. This one has more characters that are at the center of the story, though. So that might become a problem later on.
The writing seems better than last episode, and it's also a lot lighter. There's more relationship development between MLs. I'm interested in next episode 💜

That's the vibe I'm getting from it, too. Especially since it's releasing alongside WoY, and he has a new BL coming out soon.
It's not necessarily bad (many korean BLs do it, and WBL was also similar), but it basically feels like a re-run if you already watched the old version.
I only watched first 3-4 episodes, and didn't notice any difference. There might be more to the NC scenes (which happen later on), but I highly doubt it will be very different. More like minor tweaks here and there. They didn't reshoot anything, it's just a re-edit. And since it looks fairly low budget, I don't think they had a lot of unaired scenes shot in the first place.

The actors themselves are fairly unique looking in my opinion. Problem is the way they styled the characters. Hairstyles, make-up, filters... they made them look so generic on the poster!!

Kinda good? Majorly weird, but not in a boring way. MLs feel evenly matched for now, which is rare in BLs. Bodyguards do about as much bodyguarding as those in UN and KP. There are some familiar faces from Gen Y, which might be a plus for someone I guess? I need Yai's bathtub, stat. Script could be better, but at least there's script to begin with.
My one pet peeve for the future - I don't like Big one bit. Despise his characters in every iteration. Hence let me hope his role in this is minimal, and preferably ends in death 🖤
