Is the ending happy or sad?

What a beautifully written review! I tried to start Chicago Typewriter on two different occasions without success (maybe my life was too busy at that time). The third time I started I took my time, settled in, and was transported into their world.

Thank you for this comment. Personally, I love PBY. The only time I DON'T like her is when she's crying, it's usually out of control. I'm looking forward to watching this now.

I don't know if you would be interested in any of these, some romance, some not. I need happy endings, too. You like a lot of the same things I like, but a couple that you really liked I didn't care for (but I always seem to be the only one that didn't like something). My Little Happiness; Tomorrow; I Remember You (Hello Monster); Love Rain; Master's Sun; The Witch's Diner; Hidden Love; Devilish Joy; Encounter; Falling for Innocence; Flower of Evil.

Have you seen My Little Happiness? Chinese. Very mature relationship. Not too terribly much wasted time.

Do you have a favorite genre? Have you been watching shows for a long time? Have you seen all the "standard" stuff? I noticed that you put Amidst a Snowstorm of Love on hold? Maybe you should give it another try? It's slow and quiet, but one of my favorites.

I really liked him in Chicago Typewriter, but that is one show that I tried a couple of times to watch and put it aside. Then I was in the right place at the right time and tried it again and absolutely loved it.

I agree with you. I loved the acting. I think it would have been better with more diverse cases and no romance. They are not on an equal emotional/developmental footing, so that was problematic for me.

I'm sorry if you thought I was offended by your opinion, I wasn't at all. I'm a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I was just wondering how you knew so much about the plot and that you didn't like it if you only watched two episodes. Now it makes sense. Thank you for clarifying.
