I only watched it during the day because I found it a little scary (again, big chicken here!) It might have been an okay watch at night if I was just passively watching it, but I was totally invested. If you like this genre normally, watch it at night, that will make it even better!

Yes, I did. You said you dropped it at episode two, but you mentioned them having a child after the first four episodes. Your math isn't mathing. I do, however, understand wanting to see more of the main couple. Korean dramas often use WAY too many characters so that everyone gets a bit of a storyline, but not enough. I wish they didn't do that.

I totally agree with you. Amazing cast and chemistry between the cast members. So much humor, yet so much emotion at times.

Yeah, there's IU and Park Bo Gum. But the veteran actors in this are stellar as well! This looks like a dream cast.

This is one I can watch over and over again, and usually do when I've watched a few not-so-good shows.

I don't need to be fast-forwarding through most of a 16-episode show just so the actors get paid more. They know how much they will be getting paid; it's their option to take the job or not. Shows don't normally suddenly have less episodes than expected, except if it is doing really poorly and they want to cut their losses. Don't get me wrong, if it's written really well, I'm all about watching 16 episodes, it gives them a chance to go into more detail.

I understand dramatic license, but with a medical background, I struggle with inaccuracies. When the actors are doing things medically incorrect, or if something happens and I immediately say, "Come on, that would NEVER happen!", it takes me out of the show.

However, there are a lot of 16 episode shows that have no reason to be 16 episodes. I think if the story is well-told and cohesive without a cliffhanger (planning for season 2), eight episodes is fine. IMHO.
