Because, for better or worse, my overall rating is for my enjoyment/appreciation of the show. I'm not a drama critic; I'm just a viewer. I can watch a show and objectively observe that the acting was good, but I hate the show. For me, there were just too many unlikeable characters, and implausible actions by the characters. The rating is more for me, to help me remember what I watched and why I did (or didn't) like it.

For me, it's his ears.

Love the actors, but not sure about their chemistry together. And I hope it's different than OBS, because I'm the one person in the entire world that didn't like it. That said, OF COURSE I'm tuning in!

I have lost count of the number of times I have been disappointed in the ending of a K-drama. I'm starting to think that they put apprentice writers on the final episode.

I really liked your review. I didn't like this drama at all. When I see clips for the show (because they are only going to show the best ones), I think that maybe I was too harsh in my review of it, but no, it just wasn't for me.

The first review of this that actually sounds like all the clips show. He's mean, she stares a lot with her sad doe eyes.

I love the actors in this one, but I have a hard time with sad endings, and some of the other reviews intimated that some of the behaviors were somewhat toxic. I liked your review.

I'll be interested in your review once it's completed. As history has shown, shows that start out well often take a nosedive. For me, he just looks mad/mean all the time, and through all the clips I've seen, she has had only one expression. I like her as an actress and am hoping for more once I watch it.

I really like and appreciate your review. You are right, these types of shows are tough to rate. For me personally, it might be well-produced and well-acted, but red flags and unlikeable characters are a firm "no" for me. Thank you for all the specifics that showed me that I should skip this one.

I've seen some C-dramas with really good kisses. Were the censors not doing their jobs? Whatever the reason is, whenever I watch a C-drama with bad kisses, I have to stop watching C-dramas for a while. At least give us something that doesn't look like a dead fish kiss!
