I’ve been skipping the main storyline and just watching the snippets of the two secondary couples. They barely get any screen time, but their scenes are pure gold 😩Who knew a mole behind the ear could be so intriguing? And Aihara Isshin, there is something about him, I was captivated by him from the moment he appeared in the first episode. I hope we get more seasons that focus mainly on the secondary couples and their relationships.

I was talking about Sheng’s and Gao Tu’s dads taking up too much screen time. Why would I call Eliot and Kipuka ugly? They’re beautiful.

i kept watching because the storyline was unique and interesting, and i was hoping to eventually see some real character development, duh

lol i’m so done with the cp fan wars all over again. it doesn’t even matter if you’re team main cp or second cp, we’ve all been ROBBED and it’s ok to be mad about it.

everything about this show felt so superficial, completely devoid of emotion, depth, or growth. there was no real character arc, no character development, no deep intimacy between the characters. the characters were just cold. it felt like the actors were told to act in a certain way that made them look robotic. the extras were basically NPCs with terrible voice dubbing.

and the last episode! sorry, but the bad acting from the child actor took me out of the scene. they wasted so much screen time on unnecessary scenes. i swear, the two ugly ass dads got more screen time than the second cp. what was supposed to be an intense, painful pregnancy got skipped entirely! mind you, we’re watching an omegafreakingverse and we didn’t even get to see the pregnancy journey or the childbirth. diabolical! and the time skip was so random. the reunion scene that should’ve given us closure was just cut out. at least they could’ve given us a father-son moment! if they don’t even show these profound emotional moments, how do we connect with the characters on a deeper level? every single thing was happening like it’s a task, checking off a checklist one by one, with no nuance, no emotion, no heart, no soul.

the production, direction, and screenwriting were such a letdown. a huge disrespect to every fan who actually cared about this show.

Hello, Nong Jian sisters, don’t even think about making a season 2 if you two are directing and screenwriting it!!! Please don’t torture us any further. Thank you.

With the final episode approaching, I’m just filled with bitter disappointment. I don’t even have any expectations left for the second CP. At this point, I don’t think we even have a second CP in this show! Because they have literally no intimacy, romance, togetherness, communication, nothing that signifies they’re actually a couple. Maybe a potential couple! But the show is ending now, and their story hasn’t even begun 😤

What’s with the voice over at the beginning? Is it so hard to show me rather than tell me? This show has the best cast, the most interesting storyline, and it seems like they have the budget as well, but ugh, the directing and scriptwriting suck big time. Such a waste of potential. I have no experience in filmmaking, but I swear I could make a better show with all these elements.

never known any character as devoted as hua cheng. he doesn’t just love xie lian, he literally worships the ground xie lian walks on. still waiting for eternal faith 🤧

A big failure of a director and story writing on this one. No wonder people are pissed. 3 minutes of screen time!? Really? WTH. They don’t even know how to separate the scenes between the couples. They could have added some second CP scenes in between the main CP scenes to make it flow better. That way, we could equally enjoy watching both couples instead of constantly worrying that time is running out while waiting for the second CP to appear. Just poor directing, all in all. And why does every extra cast member act like an NPC with dubbed audio? It’s so bad. If it weren’t for the main cast, I would have quit this show a long time ago.

I feel like we won’t get any kiss scenes between our second leads 😡 Seriously, this is omegafreakingverse, and a kiss is the bare minimum! If we don’t even get that, then what’s the point? This show is testing my patience!

I’m more interested in the two secondary couples than the main one, but with only six episodes, I don’t think we'll get any proper development for them.

I’m loving the angst even though my poor baby Gao Tu is suffering 😭 I just can’t wait to see Shen Wenlang’s face when he finally realises how dumb he was 😩

To me, the main couple's relationship always felt performative and kind of fake because it was built on lies. But now that Hua Yong is finally being himself, I'm loving their dynamic so much! Sheng Shaoyou just can't keep up with the real Hua and his shamelessness 😂 They are so cute! This is my favorite episode so far.

A 10/10 for me. The two actors - Zhang Zhexu and Mi Jin were everything! 👏 They lived and breathed their characters. The best BL of 2025 for me.
