Her character was way more relevant to the story in the webtoon

Song kang’s acting during the climax fight scene was terrible, he ruined 9 episodes worth of build up with his bad acting and lack of capability to express the character’s emotions. Don’t even defend his acting by claiming that PJE is supposed to be a cold character because a good actor can express the emotions the character is supposed to be feeling while staying true to the character’s personality. This was the peak of PJE’s emotional capacity? Staring blankly like a goldfish while raising your voice? Ridiculous.

Calling the emergency when she was sick and most likely saw leave her house so he can gain her trust again all to get her sleep with him. He came to her house again after being rejected and said “im hungry” implying that he’s horny and wants to eat her 🤢🤢🤮

Im convinced they only like him for his face because he has nothing else to offer. His acting is bad, his pronunciation is terrible, PJE is not charming at all and even his face is not my type so the only thing he makes me feel is annoyance and disgust

My biggest problem with this show is PJE is not attractive at all hes either creepily fake smiling all the time like a psycho or looking like this -> O3O do you want to see my 🦋. If someone who looks and acts like him was around me trying to mark me like nabi I would tell him to f off and continue with my life so this show serves 0 relatability points to me. I would drop this show immediately had it not been for a crumb of sapphics

This episode was completely useless, nothing of substance happened at all between the main leads. The last few minutes of sol-jiwan was the only process. What a waste of time

Why would I defend that? She’s stupid. All im saying is her actions have nothing to do with potato boy because she hasn’t committed to him.

Eunbyeol & seokhoon are indeed the worst. Imo jenny is the best actress amongst them, she’s been acting since she was a little kid and her experience shows. Seokyung is so much better than seokhoon so it makes his bad acting stand out so much in S1. It’s ridiculous he only has fans because they find him handsome lol he has acting range of a rock

Nabi owes nothing to potato boy because he is nice to her. They are not in a committed relationship, her sleeping with other men is not a problem. The place is a rented questhouse, having sex there is not weird at all as many claim. To claim you owe a relationship to a man who hasn’t even confessed to you because he is being nice is toxic lol nabi has done nothing wrong against potato boy yet

PJE really has no charisma, all he does is stare blankly and they don’t have any chemistry even when they are kissing so their relationship is just uncomfortable to witness as a viewer. I can’t see PJE being some irresistible seductive toxic man at all so it makes no sense for nabi to be this easily swayed by him, he has seductiveness of a cardboard.

While I would prefer nabi to end up alone in the end I don’t understand the sentiment potato boy is too good for nabi, I mean why? Because she is scarred? Because she is constant target of PJE’s manipulation? None of the reasons mentioned make her not worthy of love.

Kim youngdae’s acting is awful. His reaction to finding out seokyung’s real identity was ridiculous to the point it made me laugh. He needs acting lessons

I know everyone is focused on nabi but bitna was so much more annoying to me. She doesn’t even care about kyuhyun’s feelings and just wants to possess him and use him for sex when he was honest from the start that his feelings towards her are romantic not erotic. Bitna has no right to freak out whenever she sees kyuhyun with a woman when she’s the one flirting with others and sleeping around despite being in a relationship. She has no consideration for his feelings and doesn’t respect his boundaries.

So the one hanging on the tree wasn’t her aunt? The reason I mentioned the octopus was because if I remember right hideko slightly hinted that her aunt died by being suffocated not hanged while the director showed the octopus. I wouldn’t put it past him and his black tongue to torture her to death by a damn octopus tbh

Im not sure whether I understood what the director was implying? That man who went to the pig house where ashin was staying, did he try to sleep with her? When that soldier caught him coming out of where ashin was staying with barely his clothes on and said “what atrocity is this? If this happens again I will not let it go unpunished”. Does this mean ashin was raped? Perhaps coerced? I noticed he was putting his clothes on when he came out and was thirsting over her before

I hope the director stops making bitna and kyuhyun kiss whenever bitna is drunk, it would be much more consensual and romantic if they kissed while sober at least. Im rooting for potato boy, the writer of the webtoon is said to have a say in the direction of the drama so I hope they listen to her and keep the original ending and show the wickedness of PJE as rawly as possible without any foolish redemption arc attempts

The plot is getting lost in the mountains and the crack the writer laced her pen with when writing season 1&2 is definitely running out. Im complaining like I won’t watch yet another episode next week 🏃‍♀️

I wholeheartedly enjoyed watching this and I have no idea what the plot was! I wish there was season 2 I want to see more jellyfish weirdness
