Oh my god, I called it! I was telling my coworker the moment Mofang was devoured, it means he's going to come back as some evil guy. Well, he's somewhat on the evil side right now. haha

I think you just failed to notice it. I notice her shock, then regret, and anger expressions. It was all in her micro expressions. So no, it wasn't the same face throughout, you were just not attentive to detail. Furthermore, you're forgetting what kind of character Shenli is. She's not your typical emotional female lead. She's known to be pokerfaced, extremely strong and protective, but also caring through her actions. Again, it's her micro-expressions that made me think she's done a great job. Especially looking down on the mastermind when her phoenix rose. It was incredibly imposing; I wouldn't want to cross her.
