Guys, it's literally the first 3 episodes. THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE IN LOVE YET!! Your expectations are too high! She obviously hates him because of the massacre and he, due to unfair treatment and schemes, is hateful of the world.
Just finished the 2 episodes. Honestly speaking, it wasn't bad, I quite enjoyed it! They kept a lot of the important parts that was in the original. Since this is a kdrama, I had to keep reminding myself it's only 16 episodes hence the fast pace scenes compared to the cdrama. Both have their pros and cons, being at a slower pace allows the audience to feel and understand the characters on a deeper level. With the 16 episodes, it feels very fast paced and I didn't have time to register the feelings the mother was going through compare to the original. The acting is very good thus far, needless to say I will definitely continue tuning in!
I have extremely low expectations coming into this remake, Go Ahead is one of my top favorite dramas of all times. Let's see how this version goes.. LOL

Personally, I wear my own clothes after any surgical procedure. Of course, only the underwear and pajama pants under the hospital gown. But the cast members wearing a shirt is definitely unrealistic, there's no heart monitoring them especially Yu Qing with the risk of high HR spikes. We can definitely conclude this is a low budget drama, but what matters is the characters themselves. :)

The drama despicting the overall hospital stay just seems unrealistic though. The nurses are barely there, the patients have to go to CT scan rooms on their on own? Yu Qing is taking care of the boys instead of the nurse after their chemotherapy? Very unrealistic.
This drama is quite nice, It highlight's what different patients have to deal with on a daily basis. As a chronic ill patient myself, I understood what Lu Yu Qing has gone through in terms of chronic invisible illnesses. When you want to live life like a normal human being instead of being seen as some weak, sick person. Problem is we can't ever be normal ever again, and sometimes it's best to let people know before it becomes detrimental. I felt how she felt to the core honestly, and that's what makes this drama so interesting to me. Ofc course there's other patients as well, ML was diagnosed with osteosarcoma but he seems to have very strong, supportive family and friends. On the otherhand, Tie Yi is an amputee, with no support and it's quite heartbreaking. Luckily, he found genuine friendship with the leads. I'm still on ep 3 so it is too early to give a proper review but this is what I have for now.
I am now on ep 18 and i can't figure out why the fl has totally forgotten how the ml (allen ren) tried to kill…
FL grew attached to ML because of his emotions and understanding towards the poverty and innocent citizens. It is a big deal initially because she didn't know who is was and what his motives were. As the storyline progressed, FL realizes ML is someone with a dark but righteous path. He wants to bring justice to his tribe and family which played a role in how much he understands the less fortunate people more emotionally. Furthermore, ML listens and is supportive of FL compare to Pei Yan (SML.)
Although Pei Yan is a nice guy, and he does have the right mindset in protecting his country above all else. However, his mother is the one who forced him into doing something he's not willing to do. He failed to bring proper justice the minute FL's friend was sexually assaulted. That's when FL lost her trust in him. In addition, he is constantly asking and/or dragging FL back to his home and think she's his when she has countlessly stated she's not. She wanted to be free to do what she wants, but he refused to listen. It literally just went in one ear and out the other. For Pei Yan, as long as FL is by his side, he didn't care what she wanted.
Idk if it's intentional but when Ci found out her shifu was her aunt I thought she would refer her as "aunt" from then on but she continued to call her shifu. I thought that was odd or maybe it's because she has to hide her identity? (ep 29)
Everyone should be treated the same regardless of class.
