I'm mid episode 9 now, and I gotta say I am really enjoying this show. This is the first time I'm watching ML and he reminds me SO MUCH of Jeremy Tsui. His mannerisms, facial expressions, acting, all reminds me of Jeremy. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching Jeremy. Lol. All this to say, I'm really enjoying the ML and his execution of his character. The FL (WCR) is amazing too, and I'm liking her character in this show. She usually plays sad, despondent characters in her shows, so I'm glad to see her be happy and carefree hereðŸ˜ðŸ’€
I've read some comments complaining about the slowness and I gotta say, personally, I think the slowness is what makes it well done. This is the type of show that actually needs a slow pace to tell the story between the ML and FL correctly. Because of how they started, (all the secrecy and deceit) if they end up falling in love, us viewers need to see it clearly so it's believable. Their falling in love stage can't be rushed or all their actions later on won't have the high emotional impact that is necessary.
I know we've all watched shows were they moved so fast, we are left wondering why the characters even fall in love other than for plot?? Well, I'm glad this show isn't going down that route! Seeing them just have a normal life is really good.

For me, the whole lure for this show was the fact that I thought I was going to be watching two people deal with being married while working together. ACTUALLY MARRIED, not living together with some contract where she's always threatening to leave at the slightest issue.
This would have been such a different show from all the cookie cutter show China puts out each quarter, if the directors had just stuck to the original book idea. This show would have really stood out.
