For me, the whole lure for this show was the fact that I thought I was going to be watching two people deal with being married while working together. ACTUALLY MARRIED, not living together with some contract where she's always threatening to leave at the slightest issue.
This would have been such a different show from all the cookie cutter show China puts out each quarter, if the directors had just stuck to the original book idea. This show would have really stood out.
But they just turned it into another cliché ridden drama. Hmmm..😭

This is a really good drama. Different from other xianxia in that when the ML (monarch, most powerful) got possessed with the demon Lord body, the ML didn't turn "bad" like is typical of other MLs in xianxia. It's quite interesting.
Though, I must warn you, the beginning is a little slow. But it's needed to set the story. For me, I didn't really get into it until ep 8.
You will definitely fall in love with all the characters (maybe not the fox guy cause he's annoying 😂) but you will definitely love our dragon lord jr.

None of her shows so far has been xianxia. She did wuxia with Under The Power, but that was it.
