Lol girl don't even bother with Begin Again. I feel like you might be annoyed with the FL. She really did an UNFORGIVABLE thing all because she was insecure. But the show just brush past it.
The show started out cute and funny, but then like all cdramas, it went down hill. Also, one major issue with that show is the fact that it doesn't allow emotional scenes to settle down and for the viewers to get into it before they immediately shove a funny scene into our face.

I get what you mean. I struggled with the first 4 episodes too. I really enjoyed episode 5, but not 6&7. So I understand your frustration.
BUT, yes, keep watching. For me, I didn't really get into it until episode 8. That's where the story started for me and so far, the plot has been good since then!
It's a really good show that unfortunately, because of some strange editing decisions, the first few episodes are not translating well ( lol I'm not talking about literal translation) to viewers. But please give it a chance!

Side note: The other day on here, I had mentioned that what ZLH needed was a good backer who would help support him in the industry cause unfortunately, his amazing talent can only take him so far. But someone jumped down my throat and called me a hater and said he doesn't need a backer he will succeed all on his own.
Lol I don't doubt that he will succeed, but from what I've observed about how he's treated, and in this dog eat dog world, a strong backer is needed to supplement talent. Esp in that industry. But anyway, that fan didn't wanted to hear that.ðŸ˜

What ZLH needs in the future is not only a good script but an ETHICAL CREW: director, writers and producers. A crew that won't pull the same stunt like the ones in TPR. A crew that will respect him as an actor and treat him fairly as the ML.
Twice now (MJTY and TPR) he hasn't been treated fairly. And I hate that for him. So hopefully something changes soon!

omg I agree with everything you said!! I had the SAME complaints as you for ABAY (and most C-dramas.) They always make the FLs childish, spoiled children who can't seem to communicate even with their "experience" in dating, but then make the MLs "very perfect" incarnations of a saint, who is very good at communicating and patience, while not having any prior relationship experience.
I said this during ABAY, that it seems cdrama writers HATE their female characters. They never know how to write one, or just refuse to write women better.
As a 30yr old myself, I don't think any mature woman would act the way cdramas depict their women... Sigh... Maybe this is a cultural thing, so I don't want to judge too much... But it's EXHAUSTING 😔

Side note: Interestingly, I have never been able to finish an ongoing Miles drama. Not because of him, but because of the type of FL characters he's always paired with. They are always childish, annoying, or both. "I May Love You" tested my patience ðŸ˜
But like a clown, I always come back every time he has a new show, hoping it will be different this time around 🤡 I don't know why he chooses scripts like theseðŸ˜

I'm currently watching You Are My Secret, and it was sitting good at 8.2 but just like this show, it just dropped to a 7.8 within a few hours.
