Just watched this for a second time and it was just as good, if not better, than the first time I watched it. I love the OST. It's perfect IMO in every way. The characters were all well drawn out and each had their purpose. The kissing and crying was genuine and I never once felt like I was watching actors forcing themselves to complete the scene. The plot would appear simple but because they did each character so well, all the complex emotions that come with even a simple story came across really well and made the whole series feel like a coming of age romance.

Win and Team had mad, mad chemistry in the first episode. Jeebus, that was freaking HOT!!! I liked them together in UWMA, but never noticed anything especially steamy between them. I also never watched any of their other dramas so I dont have much to compare to, but they were really good in this first episode. I also really like getting more information on everybody that we didnt get to see in UWMA, like Pharm being so upset after meeting Dean and needing comfort from a friend. Little things like that are like icing on the cake because they just add so much to the original story. I also love that they are using the original score but seem to have added some new music and a little more modern edge with more upbeat sounds throughout. I hope they can keep this up for all 12 50 min episodes.

Binged this whole series in one afternoon and just loved it, from beginning to end! It has a great story and the acting is top-notch. This will be a rewatch comfort series for me from now on.

The character played by Peat was also a person who couldn't cry in the novel. So it wasn't surprising that he…
I agree. The close but not quite there was handled pretty well in the car on the way home from the party. But when Pai reads the diary, Sky is a sobbing mess with his face all twisted up. Tears or no tears, it was cringeworthy.
On Love in the Air Nov 3, 2022
There were some truly sad, emotional scenes in ep 12, but Peat cannot cry. Directors and writers should learn how to work around actors that cant cry by changing camera angles or at least instructing the actor to not twist their faces up so much to make up for the fact that they cant cry on que. There are ways to get around that, but what I find is that the directors continue to show close-ups or full facial shots in spite of the fact that the whole scene will be ruined by an obviously fake cry. I dont think Peat is a bad actor. He was good most of the time, but his facial expressions when pouting and crying really turned me off in a big way and made it difficult for me to get fully invested in his character.

That said, the issues mentioned above are not enough to fully ruin my viewing experience and I am looking forward to seeing the final episode.

Can I give this drama 100 stars instead of just 10? That confession was the most endearing I have ever seen in any BL. Actually, maybe in any drama. Jeebus, the way Cake looks at Eiw got me all hot and bothered. Like he just wanted to eat him alive.

I am not sure how they are doing it, but each new episode is just as good, or better, than the previous one. Time to Tweet the heck out of ep 12 tags. Hopefully they'll rank number 1 like they did last week on the Thai charts they were sharing. They deserve it so much!!!

Serious spoilers ahead so read on only if you dont care about learning about almost the entire movie.

This just showed up on Gaga so I decided to give it a watch for a bit then came here to read the comments and then watched the whole movie. Honestly, I dont think I watched the same movie as all the people talking about the rape.

Yes, Tonoin rapes Yuki, but the scene was nowhere near as violent as I was expecting it to be after reading the comments. It was violent, but I've scene and read much, much worse. Korn's rape of Knock for instance was much, much worse. And in that novel, not only does the author brush over the rape, she somewhat paints Korn as the victim. In this show, they didnt brush over the rape at all. In fact, Yuki doesn't forgive Tonoin until the end and even then, you can tell they have a rough road ahead of them. And Tonoin is fully aware of what he did and feels a great deal of remorse over it.

There was no serious stalking done either. Tonoin hears a violin and falls in love, finds the object of his love and immediately takes him away and rapes him. After that, they dont see each other until the end. There is no relationship abuse because there is no relationship for the whole length of the movie.

All that said, I didnt really care for this movie. It was far too short to really get into the feelings of the two MLs, especially when it comes to falling in love over music. The movie suffers greatly from the actors not knowing squat about playing instruments or conducting. The rape scene was not at all convincing because the top was just bouncing up and down on the bed. It came across as comical and could be why I didnt feel the rape scene was all that violent. The cheese level between the MLs was way too high and I found myself cringing a lot.

The one bright side of this movie, honestly, was all the side characters and the bar where the musicians gathered. The girl interest was just awful so she was interesting because of that. I thought her drunken bar scene was pretty well done. Even though her behavior was really bad in what she was saying and doing, it was still the most emotionally realistic scene in the whole movie.

I think that if you don't off the deep end over rape scenes in boys love and you arent really turned off by a lot of cheesy moments, this is a movie you could watch when you had nothing better to do.

The looks on their faces when Jung Woo says he wants them to stay together forever tells us that at least Choco and Milk believe they wont be able to stay together forever. Ah, this is such a cute series but I think it's going to have a really sad ending. I will hope for a happy one regardless.

Title Love Area Part 1 Spoiler
Couldn't finish this. They paint Kaitoon as this really hard-working, conscientious person but he stands a friend up twice. Really? We're supposed to believe that Kaitoon feels regretful for standing Non up the first time and is so grateful that Non decides to meet him for drinks after all and then turns around and stands him up a second time? And he doesn't just stand him up. He utterly forgets Non while he's out having fun. In my book, that makes Kaitoon a really crappy person. Irredeemable in fact. These actions completely ruined his character. I simply cannot get emotionally invested in such a completely morally bankrupt person so I stopped watching more than halfway through ep 6 and have no plans to watch the second season.

This show just keeps getting better and better! Ep 4 was so good. The story is one of the best parts of this show and it's only getting deeper and even scarier. The kissing is natural and well done and new conflicts are arrising. Honestly, this is turning into one of the best BLs on right now, IMHO.

does anyone know where I can find the novel for this one and 2moons? the one i read on watpad was deleted some…
You can get them on Amazon, both 1 and 2, but I dont know if the translations are any good. I got TharnType from Amazon and the translation is absolute trash.

First episode was so darned cute!!! I am very wary of these stories though because they are usually really sad. I'll have to wait and see what happens.

The subs in iQYi are pretty bad.
Born and raised in California here and a native English speaker too. Maybe it's because I read a lot of Google and Papago translated manwha and novels. I just didnt have a problem with them.
On Oh! My Sunshine Night Oct 25, 2022
Title Oh! My Sunshine Night Spoiler
The level of cheese in the final episode surpasses the level of cheese in all the other episodes combined. This comment is just about the final episode.

Kim rips Sun's guts out for his own safety but then chases after him a few hours later like he had the whole thing planned. I mean come on, what's wrong with a simple conversation telling the kid, whose cherry you just popped, that it would be better for him to leave for his own safety? And as if ripping his heart out once wasn't enough, Kim, please, go ahead do it again. Seriously, WTAF is up with the writers? Don't add a bunch of obvious, in-our-faces tricks just to add drama to a badly written script. It's insulting.

I don't think that, ever, in the history of the world, has a comet ever looked like that. The rapidly changing chlorophyll in the plant made me want to bang my head against the wall. The roll-and-shoot with the arrows and the flying kicks had me laughing my butt off. And what the deuce was up with that Charlie's Angels pose in the middle of the fight scene? And by all means hia, stand around and scowl at the evil doctor as she gets arrested while your brother bleeds to death a few feet away.

And what is with the whole zero comm while they're apart crap? Ugh, if I ever see that again in another drama I'm going to take a long walk off a short pier. Seriously writers, stop it already!

All in all, I wouldn't call the whole drama a complete waste of my time. I love OhmFluke and I think all the actors did a good job in spite of the horrible script. I need to re-watch UWMA again just to see OhmFluke in a much, MUCH better, written and directed, series.

And Ohm, you beautiful, beautiful man, I could stare at you all day long.

Title Ai Long Nhai Spoiler
Like others are saying, this show is really simple and cute. Yes, they use a lot of the standard drama scenes like the towel rub and the girl with a crush on Ai, but what I find unique about this is the honesty these two have towards each other. Well, after ep. 5 we learn that Nhai is keeping some things a secret, but it has been revealed this early into the series and is just adorable.

I'm watching it on iQIYI and not seeing a major issue with the subs like so many other people are experiencing.

I really enjoyed ep. 11. Lots of emotion and the acting was, again, top-notch by both actors. Santa's drunk performance was probably the most convincing I have seen in a Thai BL. Well, other than War's bedroom drunkenness in Love Mechanics. I think the people who skipped the character-building in the first 8 episodes are definitely going to miss out on why these conflicts are so emotional for them both now that they are reunited.

I honestly think people who cannot see Earth's performance as being anything other than stellar must have some personal bias against him because that young man can portray emotion so well that I know exactly what the character is feeling without him saying anything. It's all there on his face and in his body language.

And Santa has done a tremendous job as well as going from a happy-go-lucky, masculine teen boy to a jealous and somewhat possessive masculine young man.

I think these two actors are fire together. I hope to see them in at least one more drama together.
On My Tooth Your Love Oct 21, 2022
I loved the first two episodes but I felt Bai's behavior was too infantile in ep. 3. I get that he's scared of thunderstorms and all that, but it's like he reverted back to his younger self and it made me uncomfortable. Other than that, the two ML's have good chemistry and I still think the acting is well done. I like the second couple too.
On Work From Heart Oct 20, 2022
Title Work From Heart Spoiler
I am really not sure why this drama has gotten so much hate. There are definitely some over-the-top moments and the Grandfather's actions are truly of the dog blood variety, but I am not sure I've seen a drama that didn't have at least one dog blood character in it. But there were a few, really touching scenes and the crying was all real when it was supposed to be real. I thought the two leads did a great job.

Yes, the ex definitely crosses the line a few times and honestly gets what's coming to him for it. They don't brush over it like I've seen in other dramas.

The ending isn't very realistic with so many people getting HEA, but heck, I like happily-ever-after endings. I'm a real sucker for them, especially in a BL.

One of the reviews mentions a fake gay subplot, but I just binged this whole series in one afternoon and never noticed it.

The NC scene was a bit spastic at one point, but it was still steamy and I didnt think it popped up outta nowhere. It fit right into the storyline and I could see it coming.

There is also mention of a general homophobic atmosphere in the drama and again, I never noticed that. The Grandfather was definitely against homosexuality, but he was the only character that I noticed who was against it.
