Sometimes he acts like he's about to say something that gives him away that he knows he's in a do-over timeline, doesnt he? Or is it just me.

what can I watch where he's the ML and his voice is not dubbed?

Through the whole thing, I was waiting for there to be a plot twist where Xie Wei ALSO reincarnated self-aware of the first timeline. But then that never happened.

I just started it. The dubbing is SO BAD. Do you happen to know if the dubbing was voice actors or the original actors? Supposedly Jeremy's voice is awesome, I wonder if they used someone else's voice in this or what.

It was so so awful. I finished Kunning Palace and just needed to decompress after watching it, so I picked this one. Just curious about Ling He's early work. The height difference is really cool and strange. But man, does this drama suck. The biggest problem I had with it aside from the RIDICULOUS screenwriting.... is the FL.

FL has the BoF FL's same haircut. Classic chinese FL tragic fashion sense. They portray her as conservatively dressed for the mostpart. She is written as a shy character who lies a lot due to her shyness. So she's a tiresome, reluctant creature already. But then you add to all this, the fact that the FL's habitual mouth expressions are very terse. And what you end up with is a very prudish and homely FL, all in all. It just makes me feel sorry for Ling He that he had to do a drama like this for work before he got hired onto better things. I guess everybody's gotta start somewhere.

Dropped at ep 12, and give it 4 stars for at least putting in the effort.

Hmmm ok kew. I will think it over. It can't be worse than Sparkle Love. I'm on episode 11, FFWing like crazy, and still fell asleep 15 times already. tysm <3

I just looked over the MDL page for it. 55eps?!? And rated below an 8. So that doesn't necessarily mean I don't want to watch it, I just have a few questions about it.
One... how draggy is it?
Two... will I end up skipping over the ML/FL plotline?
Three... I'm assuming the 2ML ends up having a romance with a 2FL. How does it go for them? Does one of them die? Do they get/stay together by the end? How much screentime do they get?
Four... How was it just in general, do you think the 7.9 rating is accurate?
Five... About how many eps into the drama do you have to get before the 2ML/2FL romance begins?

Because I don't share your opinions you call me mentally unstable? What you're doing right now is called "gaslighting" and you can't get by on it in interpersonal interaction in current year, people see right through that.

I mean you could always try I Love My President Though He's a Psycho.... but I assume you meant "can someone recommend any GOOD drama with intense fear/hate turn love dynamic", so that one would be out.

Okay, can I just say.... whoever the STYLISTS were for this show deserve gold medals and nobel prizes. Bai Lu is funny-cute AND gorgeous. But some shows have stylists that make her look... a little goofy or a little dumpy or a little bit over-done. Her stylist in this drama brought out her true beauty, and made her look graceful and stunning without being over-made-up. Even in full makeup as empress, she still doesn't look overdone-up. Her look when she's in the snow is so radiant and pretty. I mean in Love is Sweet, they practically punished her for being too beautiful by tying her hair back, giving her "don't effing touch me" lipstick, and putting her in that god-awful brown jacket and pants suits. It was criminal considering how beautiful she really is. This drama treated her the way someone as stunning as she is deserves to be treated.

SLH reminds me a little bit of Lee Dong Wook, where his natural features are striking, and when stylists try to downplay that, they just make him look awkward. But in SoKP, his stylist has done him up PERFECTLY. He's pale with dark hair and red lips, but not so much that he looks vampy.... but ALMOST though. Just enough to give him a kind of striking unsettling vibe, but still with a natural feel to the colorations... they made him just heartbreakingly beautiful-hot.

Their hair is fan-friggin-tastic. Their clothes are awesome. And it's not just the leads, they also made ZJW look HOTTTT, and brought out the best in everyone's features with consideration to their characters.

Whoever is responsible for this, I love you, you are amazing and they should clone you.

Dude, he accuses her of secretly meeting up with Zhang Zhe in the rain, and she doesn't reassure him, and he doesn't apologize.... they both just skip straight to the part where he attacks her. GGGGGGGGG that was awesome.

I'm suffering through Sparkle Love right now, and it's like "someone save me from this please omg". ZLH plays ML opposite this FL that looks almost exactly like Gu Hye Seon in Boys Over Flowers. I don't know how much more I can take, this is awful.

That's funny, because the worst FL haircut in K-drama history is BoF, and it's almost the exact same cut. Stylists who do this kind of thing to FL's should be immediately fired and escorted off the set, and never allowed to work again. Did you ever see that Wallace Chung drama My Sunshine? OMG what they did to the FL was criminally insane. First they hacked off all her long pretty hair. Then they made fun of her new haircut IN THE SCRIPT. Then they dressed her up in a shirt that looks like a goofy stupid dog, and the dog's eyes are right directly over her ta-ta's. And then they had her go to take her marriage registration photo in that stupid dog shirt. I mean.... just what did she do to deserve that kind of torture is what I want to know. Who in god's name let that psychotic stylist onto the set. She looks like my great aunt carol drank a bottle of Bombay Sapphire, fell down the stairs, and then someone stood her up, slapped her a few times to revive her and then said "okay, now dress this FL up really nice and make her look gorgeous."

Welp. Now what. I just finished it and nothing I watch next is gonna top this, in terms of possessive dark ML's. What did y'all decide to try to watch after you finished this one, and how's that going for you? I need some ideas for where to go from here -- now that my brain has been singed by the hotness of all that awesome shit I just saw.
