Those S-characters are to draw out the jealous feelings from ML and FL, they get very little screentime, and in no way is there even a hint of a true triangle.

It's borderline. They are not blood related, however, ML literally fed FL her first bottle when she was a baby, and played a very outsized role in raising her for the first half of her life. BEFORE the two of them could develop hormones, they were forced apart by circumstance. Now that she is of dating/marriageable age, they re-meet. And they're obvs into eachother. However, he did not actually groom her at all, in any way whatsoever, because he never sexualized her when she was underage, he wasn't even around for something like that to happen.

So it's dark and has undercurrents of twistedness. But it isn't outright gross or illegal or messed up. The choice of if that's too hard to handle is yours...

Welp. I guess I'm watching this, since Speed and Love is taking it's sweet time to drop.

lollll me doing advanced calculations like "if i watch X episodes on my work days and Y episodes on my days off, and there's one ep drop every day, but 2 on mondays and tuesdays...."

After what I did to myself with master longs for salted fish and dynamite kiss, this time i'm gonna wait and binge this one. Which will not be easy. But this is 30 45min episodes, I know it's prime binge material. I'll be so mad at myself if I don't have the willpower to wait for it to be nearly finished before I start.

I was pretty excited for AJTL, but was super disappointed with it in the end. I don't get my hopes up about Yu Ning dramas anymore, but I've never seen He Yu in anything bad, so I am holding out hope for this one.

There are a few c-dramas I've watched that had such bad dubbing/annoying voices that I made a playlist of music to listen to, and just muted the show's audio altogether, and it greatly improved my viewing experience. I did that with The Crush with Richard Li, and Well Intended Love, and a few others. And even with the audio muted, they're still among my favorite c-dramas. Just gotta pick good music that vibes with the show.

godddd I cannot wait for this to come out.... He Yu is so spicy cute and one of the best onscreen kissers out there, although the last time he got a chance to show off his ML rizz was My Fated Boy, which I'm fairly sure had a french kiss in the final episode. It was awesome that they gave him that cute side character in Legend of Shen Li. Hope this is another knock it out of the park drama for He Yu 💖

Tried to watch this and couldn't make it past ep 2 due to all the females having the 입술 내민 애교 말투 (that lower-register pouty-lipped vocal affectation that sounds like cotton in the cheeks, ppu-maltu).

I don't mind a light old school aegyo affectation, but this new thing the girls do is so grating and cringe, I just can't. I can't wait for this fake-coy weird low pitched babytalk accent to fall out of style.

It's too bad too because this show looks like otherwise it could be decent, but I tried so hard, and by the time an hour had gone by I was ready to throw my laptop out the third story window thats how much it bothers me.

it's also making it really awkward that he's torn up about whether or not he should follow his impulses to have an affair with a woman he thinks has a family. When they're trapped in the closet together.... I like this show, but it's teetering on a fine line of morality.

Could be because he is a HUGE Leo-energy person... he has 3 inner planets plus Chiron in Leo. Big Leos tend to cause love-em-or-hate-em reactions in others. His moon in saggittarius is also a fire sign, and this adds to his "Fire-ness" and pumps up his Leo energy even more.
