Title LOVE.exe
Tried to watch this and couldn't make it past ep 2 due to all the females having the 입술 내민 애교 말투 (that lower-register pouty-lipped vocal affectation that sounds like cotton in the cheeks, ppu-maltu).

I don't mind a light old school aegyo affectation, but this new thing the girls do is so grating and cringe, I just can't. I can't wait for this fake-coy weird low pitched babytalk accent to fall out of style.

It's too bad too because this show looks like otherwise it could be decent, but I tried so hard, and by the time an hour had gone by I was ready to throw my laptop out the third story window thats how much it bothers me.

sigh.

nobody cares if you are watching or not
Actually you do, you just don't know it because they wouldn't ever tell you. So really you only don't talk to people who are uncomfortable with gayness *and* make the mistake of being honest about it in your presence lol.

Idk i just feel heart-wrenchingly sorry for Gong Ji Hyeok. He fell so deeply, so hopelessly for Da Rim, yet he…
it's also making it really awkward that he's torn up about whether or not he should follow his impulses to have an affair with a woman he thinks has a family. When they're trapped in the closet together.... I like this show, but it's teetering on a fine line of morality.

ngl i really don't like jang kiyong's acting 😭 i love the premise of this drama and it gives me older k-drama…
Could be because he is a HUGE Leo-energy person... he has 3 inner planets plus Chiron in Leo. Big Leos tend to cause love-em-or-hate-em reactions in others. His moon in saggittarius is also a fire sign, and this adds to his "Fire-ness" and pumps up his Leo energy even more.

He also has a very significant Leo/Aquarius opposition energy in his chart, and that can also strike others as very "come-here-get-away" vibe. Some people are very attracted to that energy, because it seems mysterious and aloof, but others don't like it because it's hard to get a good read on them or what they want (John Travolta is another example of strong Leo/Aquarius opposition energy)

Finally, he has his Mars in Gemini. Gemini is a very playful, superficial, glittery, intellectual air sign, and for his Mars (which is masculine energy) to be in such a lighthearted and changeable sign... well some people don't see that as a very manly, magnetic, smoldering version of sexy the way they might with Scorpio or Taurus or Capricorn energy.

When people have strong Leo/Gemini placements, it's sometimes viewed by others as playful, yet egotistical (another example of Leo/Gemini energy is Donald Trump) and that drives them insane with annoyance.

I think he's hotter than a volcano on the sun, but it's normal for me to be attracted by Leo/Aquarius energy, as I am also a huge huge fire energy person.

People with prominent Virgo, Cancer, or Pisces in their charts might not appreciate the vibes he gives off.

WHY THE FUCK DIDNT YOU JUST SAY YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND WERE SEPERATED!!!@!!!!! I GET THERE NEEDS TO BE DRAMA BUT…
SK is conservative, even if they were separated, she'd still be seen as legally married.... the kid is a dealbreaker situation for a lot of SK men.... and if she said they were actually divorced, she probably wouldn't get to keep the job.

What I don't understand is why not just admit to him you lied about everything to get the job because you're desparate for work? That guy is your meal ticket, yo! You don't need that job anymore if u with him!

The plot was somehow captivating because of its uniqueness, but the ending was just bad and a typical cliché…
You've seen a lot more j-dramas than I have, you've seen 225+ and I've only seen like 60+... but the kind of ending I find cliche for j-dramas (at least from what I've seen) is "open ending". And I get so sick of it. There are quite a few j-dramas that I would have rated higher if they hadn't done that.

I'm already on ep 4, a bit struggling to follow 🥲 idk .. maybe the storyline is lacking, I feel like there…
I'm doing my rewatch, and I don't think this was the best book adaptation I've ever seen... The reasons why this story was good, was A) The novel itself was good B) The actors are good.

But the styling and settings were just ok... the music was just ok because it was out of sync with the mood of the characters here and there.... they gave the villains WAY WAY too much screentime.... the snake was miscast and very badly styled like he was nothing more than an afterthought. I'm not sure the actor who played him had a good handle on who his character should be... and they made changes to the novel's storyline -- all of the changes take away from the enjoyment of the story, none of them actually add to it. The ending was cliche and disappointing.

I also agree to watch it till you feel like it's not fun anymore and then drop or put on hold etc.

exactly 💯. Romcoms are there to entertain. Am I entertained? Hell, yeah.
**finally** a k-producer did something that made some sense: just give JKY a perfect vehicle for being a damn good actor and being viciously devastatingly mind-breakingly hot. That's all anyone ever had to do, is it really that hard.

This month, almost all romcoms have failed me, but this finally!! This is so good. Even with all the cliches its…
bets on amnesia for one or more of the characters

ep 2, so freakin funny:
They beat the shit out of the "just missed them by a second" trope till I was crackin up, you think by the time he misses her as food delivery girl, the joke's totally played out... but no.... and when he misses her from the resume with headshot, that just put me on the floor laughing.

There will not be any spicy kissing. So guess you'll miss out. His drama's plots are usually good.

Some horror plots and action plots and family drama plots are very good too, but they're not my genre, and so I'm not that interested. My genre is romance. So I don't like it when a story is sanitized in that department.

It's not just Allen Ren... anyone who takes major roles in dramas that are billed as romances, should be willing to act out being "in love" and that includes kissing scenes. If you refuse to immerse yourself in your role enough to even kiss your romantic interest convincingly, then don't take on those projects. Just imo, of course....

A romance without good kiss scenes is like a samurai movie without good swordfight scenes.

If it's a comedy, a family-oriented show, or not actually in the "Romance" genre, then I'm not that picky and don't really care.

But again! I'm perfectly willing to change my mind, if in this drama he actually kisses his FL in a semi-convincing manner.

I've been burned too many times on Allan Ren romances, he only does G-rated kisses in his kiss scenes and I just can't anymore.

But! If this is an exception to that, and there's actually spicy or even semi-spicy kisses, somebody let me know and I'll check this out.

what do you mean? I don't think that's true, I watched 6 dramas he was in with a main role (i didn't watch "atypical…
I did like him in atypical, but the personality of the role he played was a little bit self absorbed for me. Still, he's playing the character faithfully and he was awesome as always. The shaggy hair and the hoodie was so sexaayyy! Anyways, i'll also watch anything he's in just because he's in it.

Here hoping for a decent/watchable/i won't drop typa drama. I have faith in the cast, as for the script, i haven't…
k-dramas have been going through this slump where the production is good, the actors are solid, but the script is just uninspired and crappy. I hope they pull out of their funk, because i used to watch k-dramas all the time and loved them. Now, not so much. C-dramas have been kicking the crap out of k-dramas lately, when that didn't used to be the case. Flower of Evil, That Winter the Wind Blows, Another Miss Oh and Que Sera Sera, Cheese in the Trap, Shopping King Louie, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.... there used to be so much cool stuff to watch.

I think he's good at angst, so I liked him best in come and hug me and born again. But I don't think any role he's taken so far has been able to fully tap into his potential. He's really versatile and he's good at comedy, but I want to see someone go dark-romance with him. My roomate is a gumiho could have been good, but they paired him up with this chick who wasn't well matched to him and couldn't keep up acting-wise, and then put her in mom-jeans with a dumb haircut and a sweater, and it just put off all the wrong vibe.

I don't know why it's so hard for korean dramas to go full on dark romance, they always take a serious subject and then lighten it up until you can't take it seriously, like my roomate is a gumiho, my demon, scholar who walks the night, kill me heal me, doom at your service, master's sun, etc.

I like full on batshit crazy, and dark psychology, so I tend to gravitate towards c-dramas, and I can think of so many dark c-drama roles that JKY would have just slayed in.

I don't hold out a lot of hope that this is going to be some epic role for him, but honestly he's good in anything he's cast in, even if the show itself is garbage, and I'm excited regardless.
