I try to guard against that feeling, but there are still a few actors that if it came out they were predators, I would feel pretty upset for a few days before I moved on from them. It's hard to watch shows and NOT ascribe attributes to the actors. Even when I'm trying not to.

His method of defending himself is to admit he has sacrificed his humanity for his career on occasion... that he's lied, and that he would do it again... to fake cry as he declares he's about to sue a poor and bereaved family for a bazillion dollars they don't have... and to not provide any verifiable proofs of innocence.

If he were innocent of extortion, all he and GM would have to do, is show their accounting records where KSR's DUI actually DID cost them half a million dollars, and show the communications with KSR to prove he didn't ghost her after she received the extortion letters. That should be exceedingly easy to do, if he were innocent.

I try to imagine what bts conversations led to that genius decision, and all I can see in my mind that seems realistic, is that it was a room full of other Cluster B people... like 4 or 5 narcissists in a room together, the lawyer, GM-brother-cousin-guy, KSH and maybe one or two other people, and they're ALL narcissists. So when KSH is like "How dare she do this to me! I thought it was kind of "off" because they are trying to build tension that leads to this incredible kiss... I was picking up from the beginning that this actor keeps a different reputation, like Dilraba or just someone less 'sullied' by racier roles.
Well there's too much bullshit between scenes of tension, so it was trying my patience, but he is handsome, so I stick with the show. And I'm thinking "fine then, if all this builds to is an incredible kiss, then let's see this amazing kiss then."
And you get 3. The one in the snow, the long one, and the upside down one. Well, the one in the snow was pretty good if you ask me. Not good enough to justify hanging out that many episodes for, but decent. The second one was like whaaaaaat.... is that....? It's way way too long like super gratuitous, and just WEIRD. The third one was sweet but kinda dumb.
All in all, i don't know how worth it that investment of my time was. I guess it was a whatever OK and I'll give it a 7. I love both those actors, the script was a lil bit crappy.
I viewed it as the ML is dead and the FL is dreaming he's with her. But it could also be seen as he's somehow…
I'm like 95% convinced he dead. Because. It goes white curtain falls (symbolism... white = death / curtain = division and separation), then the young man is clearly her son. Then she's smiling at the kid, and the smile turns into the upside down kiss. Because her love for her son is a continuation of her love for ML. The fact that he's upside down shows he's coming from an opposite "something". Like the afterlife. And it means their love is still active even though they are separated by the veil that divides life from afterlife. For them it's not over and they'll reincarnate into something better because their karma from this life has them at big net positive points.
This makes it a sad ending, but actually a happier one, ultimately. Kind of clever and sweet, but I still hated the ending all in all.
