I watched one where the chick is a doctor and gets sent to the ML's house to fix a gunshot wound, and then kidnapped. I watched one about a giant snake or somethin. I watched that popular one about the guy who loves his cousin. I think in that one the FL was named Fergie/Ferdi? And a few others I didn't think were good enough to remember anything about.
But I get it if the visuals of the c-dramas don't do it for you. Visuals is in the eye of the beholder, after all <3
No I like batshit crazy spicy racy makjang whatever. What got me about the T-Dramas is the weird double standard with the alcohol, i just found it puzzling. and the misogyny, like.... I'm fine with some misogyny/sexism in shows. But you can tell in the T-Dramas that their culture is steeped in a long long tradition of women not having rights, and some of the things they do piss me off. Which is weird because I'm in no way a feminist. I can kind of overlook it for the sake of a good drama, but I find it hard to deal with all the same.
I switched from K-dramas to C-dramas naturally over time, and I love them, so I would of course recc anyone trying to leave k-dramas and find something better, to start checking out c-dramas. I think they're better in a lot of ways.
I just want to stay away from countries where women and children are being exploited by an industry that says it's about acting, but is really about s*x work and trafficking like Hollywood.
Turkish dramas.... I gave them a fair shot, I watched about 6-10 of them. And I just can't with the Turkish because of the deep deep layers of misogyny in them. Like for instance, in T-Dramaland, it is perfectly normal and acceptable to lock a woman in her room for days or even weeks if she's acting crazy or rebellious or she's disobeying the male head of household. It's also weird how they will do the most effed up shit and shoot at eachother attacks with knives, abuse, racy love scenes... but they pixelate out all the alcohol. Because muslims can't drink alcohol. But the characters drink alcohol. But they just fuzz out the glass itself, as the character drinks it. Also just imo, turkish men are not as visuals for me as chinese. Something about them is just hairy and weird lookin.
proof of what, like enabling or extortion or something?
I haven't seen any, but I only keep up with this story somewhat.
If the questions stem from her having known him well over a long time, then the first place I would look is to IU herself to see if she's addressed the shitstorm surrounding him rn or not. She owes her fans an explanation. Whether she gives it or not, idk.
People are probably going to dig on her pretty intensely anyway, because of how Oprah looks guilty for her associations with Epstein/Mazwell/Weinstein/John of God, and sometimes when a person knows someone for a long time who turns out to be a predator, then guess what....
But that's why she should say something about this probably, if she hasn't already. If she doesn't explain herself their connection and the nature of their relationship, other people will dig into it and find out for themselves.
Why is it SO HARD for some people to believe that celebrities aren't Saints!??Most of them are BAD PEOPLE. ACCEPT…
I try to guard against that feeling, but there are still a few actors that if it came out they were predators, I would feel pretty upset for a few days before I moved on from them. It's hard to watch shows and NOT ascribe attributes to the actors. Even when I'm trying not to.

KSH is guilty of cruelty to his hardcore fans. Here they are putting themselves through anguish, spending all this time trying to show their support in his time of need, putting themselves on the line as defenders of pdf's, getting judged and disowned and lectured by everybody....
KSH should give them some proofs of his innocence so they have something solid they can defend him with, but no. All they get is just a pile of fake tears, and a presser with ONE measly piece of "evidence" that was debunked within 10 minutes of him stepping off camera. How can they face the mountain of evidences piling up on the other side of this, day after day with no reward at all?!
@roddib @ga on-a, I am, like you, horrified by these people who stand with their fingers outstretched, pointing…
He does have a will to defend himself. That's what he called the presser for. His method of defending himself is to admit he has sacrificed his humanity for his career on occasion... that he's lied, and that he would do it again... to fake cry as he declares he's about to sue a poor and bereaved family for a bazillion dollars they don't have... and to not provide any verifiable proofs of innocence.
That's his will to defend himself.
I think you may be missing the essence of all this:
His bad publicity, his ruined social standing, his product endorsements running away, Knock Off being shelved indefinitely..... all this could go away at any time if he were to bring to the public some evidences of his innocence. So why hasn't he? Why is this the best he can do to defend himself?
He said he lied in past and he will lie in the future in the same situation. That proves everything. If OJ can…
Whether he is a groomer, pdf, and an extortionist, has nothing to do with the "official outcome" of anything. Why are you so hung up on what a future SKorean court says about this issue?
KSR's family and various knetz have provided evidences, which you can look at for yourself. You can decide what you think of it on your own, you don't need officials to help you think.
KSH had his opportunity to refute the claims and provide counter-evidences at his "presser". Instead, he used that public stage to admit he lied and would lie again, admit that he sacrificed his human sensibilities to uphold his star image, refuse to call KSR by her name even though he dated her for over half a decade, and fake-cry while announcing he was suing a poor bereaved family for a bazillion dollars they don't have and never will have.
That was the sum total of his counter-argument that he's innocent. That was all he could muster.
What I find especially telling, is that KSH and GM have not come out with proofs that exonerate them of the extortion accusation. All companies have to keep accounting records and communications records. If he were innocent of extortion, all he and GM would have to do, is show their accounting records where KSR's DUI actually DID cost them half a million dollars, and show the communications with KSR to prove he didn't ghost her after she received the extortion letters. That should be exceedingly easy to do, if he were innocent.
And yet what he offered up to the public as an explanation, was fake crying.
The OP of the LJH statement goes "Soo he is not banned from talking about KSR"
And then one of the commenters goes "He is banned, there was an official statement from news articles in Korea saying that the stalking order was granted. He is just blatantly breaking the court's orders and lying in his channel right now as he removes any comments pointing out his lies. It's common for male perpetrators to do this as they believe they are above the law and think they can get away but this will further worsen his case in court."
this piece of shit and his fake tears during that conference⦠he was so fake , I donāt even know how can some…
The bitch dug his own grave with that.
I try to imagine what bts conversations led to that genius decision, and all I can see in my mind that seems realistic, is that it was a room full of other Cluster B people... like 4 or 5 narcissists in a room together, the lawyer, GM-brother-cousin-guy, KSH and maybe one or two other people, and they're ALL narcissists. So when KSH is like "How dare she do this to me! I'll sue the bitch into oblivion and cry about it on TV!" none of them try to stop him, because none of them see the problem. **Since they don't have normal emotions either, they don't realize KSH can't convincingly cry.**
What else could explain that level of sheer stupidity. Just the logic of "No one can tell I'm fake crying." And actually believing it.
Some of you probably already caught this, but here is a 15min conversation between two SKorean lawyers taking…
EDIT: There's more stuff in that vid, but I think I'll end up summarizing it wrong. But I'll try...
I thiiiiink what they're saying also (???) is that the court will take into account that when KSR's family released the photos and what-have-you's, everyone knew - like the public, and the family - that this wasn't illegal, or at least nothing she could prove for court, so there was no judicial recourse for her. And wanting to seek justice, she COULDN'T do it through the courts, and this makes her motivations for coming instead to the public, sympathetic and understandable.
Like "Why would you release those photos" "Well because I knew I couldn't take it to court, but something was clearly done wrong here, so I took it to the public instead."
Some of you probably already caught this, but here is a 15min conversation between two SKorean lawyers taking about how it's likely KSH will lose his defamation case against KSR's family:
TLDW: 1) To win a defamation case, KSH would not only have to prove through proper court-affiliated forensics that the images released by KSR's family were faked... but he'd also have to prove that KSR's family *knew* they were faked and intentionally spread false info. Which he's not likely to be able to do. 2) During his presser, he said he had lied in the past, and if faced with the same situation he would do it again. A court will not want to hear this, and looks down on plantiffs and defendants that show no regret, remorse, or reflection on their actions. It will harm his own credibility in court.
yes, the flowers he's receiving proves how blind and dumb his fans are!
It serves him right for cultivating such a vapid fanbase that they're sending money to an unaffiliated website to try to save him with non-existent flowers.
