"Statutory r*pe is nonforcible s*xual activity in which one of the individuals is below the age of consent. In statutory r*pe, overt force or threat is usually not present. Statutory r*pe laws presume coercion because a minor or mentally disabled adult is legally incapable of giving consent to the act. " -Wikipedia
There's redditors on the KSH/KSR megathread discussing speculations that KSH was in the car with KSR when she got her DUI, that he was too drunk to drive, and insisted she drive... that she wanted to call for a driver but the place they were at were trying to hurry their car out of there. And that when she was pulled over, that's why KSH said he'd take care of all the legal crap that ensued from it.

Late Kim Sae-ron's lies suspicion raised → 2019 kissing video with another man released.https://m.entertain.naver.com/article/213/0001333928
1. Does not negate what he's accused of 2. LJH is defying a court order to release that 3. Image quality not enough for positive ID
Some people will do anything to keep from being sued by Disney for 100 mil.
Weird how he's hot to provide "reciepts" of KSR having other relationships, but not so hot to provide reciepts that KSH didn't groom her as a minor or extort her for a half a mil.
If anything this only makes him look worse, because it's possible motivation for extorting her later, if he was jealous or felt jilted.
Yeah, suddenly LJH can stream again. As if court order is nothing. If the law doesn't do anything, it only means…
Court order doesn't physically stop anyone from doing anything, it just creates a set of consequences for doing it. We'll see if he faces any consequences.
I try to guard against that feeling, but there are still a few actors that if it came out they were predators,…
Nothing. JulySnow2 said don't get any emotions wrapped up in actors because they could be pieces of shit. And I said, it's hard not to do that. With most actors I try to separate myself so that if I ever find out they pulled a K-Diddy, it wouldn't really shock or upset me. But those 5 actors are like my personal weaknesses, that it would sting if I ever were HYPOTHETICALLY to find out they were actually a K-Diddy.
Hey, guys, I'm having a hard time watching it. I have a "Zhang Ling He" problem. I have seen him before in other…
Maybe that's why he's so eerily good at playing this character which is kind of a d*ck.
He's like if you like cold, stern, calculating men. He's like a vampire in this, to me. This is a very vampy character.
Some people are not gonna vibe with that at all. And some people can't take Ling He seriously onscreen for various reasons, so that would ruin a good time as well. I say don't force yourself to watch if u no like.
I keep trying to watch Kai Soso dramas, and it's getting to the point that I just can't with him, so I get the feeling.
I saw Ling He in The Best Thing, and I didn't buy him in that role at ALL. Ugh. I hope he starts staying away from the 'sweet ML' characters because it looks like an act. Him acting like kind of a d*ck, does NOT look like an act.
but are the ones you mentioned light comedy style, because that's like one of my least fave type of romances, if you were to recc me something, i need something dark, intense, and spicy. Red flag green flag i dont care at all. plot, i don't care, could be anything crazy or not fantasy or not whatever. I just like DARK/INTENSE/BADASS ML, and the right level of spice factor.
> Also I don't like Historical dramas, and apparently c historicals are made better generally than modern c drama
Oh yesss indeedy modern-day setting C-dramas kind of admittedly suck sh*t. It's historical all the way with them.
Just for starters, modern c-drama tends to have the WORST sense of style. Don't even get me started.
But there IS a sub-genre of modern-setting c-drama that kicks ass, and that is the "Batshit Crazy Romance". I'm sorry but NOone does batshit crazy like the Chinese. So if you go for that sort of thing, that can be fun. If you asked me what the top 10 most crazy plots for a romance story were, there would be one Taiwanese drama and one Thai drama on that list, and all the rest would be Chinese.
I watched one where the chick is a doctor and gets sent to the ML's house to fix a gunshot wound, and then kidnapped. I watched one about a giant snake or somethin. I watched that popular one about the guy who loves his cousin. I think in that one the FL was named Fergie/Ferdi? And a few others I didn't think were good enough to remember anything about.
But I get it if the visuals of the c-dramas don't do it for you. Visuals is in the eye of the beholder, after all <3
No I like batshit crazy spicy racy makjang whatever. What got me about the T-Dramas is the weird double standard with the alcohol, i just found it puzzling. and the misogyny, like.... I'm fine with some misogyny/sexism in shows. But you can tell in the T-Dramas that their culture is steeped in a long long tradition of women not having rights, and some of the things they do piss me off. Which is weird because I'm in no way a feminist. I can kind of overlook it for the sake of a good drama, but I find it hard to deal with all the same.
I switched from K-dramas to C-dramas naturally over time, and I love them, so I would of course recc anyone trying to leave k-dramas and find something better, to start checking out c-dramas. I think they're better in a lot of ways.
I just want to stay away from countries where women and children are being exploited by an industry that says it's about acting, but is really about s*x work and trafficking like Hollywood.
Turkish dramas.... I gave them a fair shot, I watched about 6-10 of them. And I just can't with the Turkish because of the deep deep layers of misogyny in them. Like for instance, in T-Dramaland, it is perfectly normal and acceptable to lock a woman in her room for days or even weeks if she's acting crazy or rebellious or she's disobeying the male head of household. It's also weird how they will do the most effed up shit and shoot at eachother attacks with knives, abuse, racy love scenes... but they pixelate out all the alcohol. Because muslims can't drink alcohol. But the characters drink alcohol. But they just fuzz out the glass itself, as the character drinks it. Also just imo, turkish men are not as visuals for me as chinese. Something about them is just hairy and weird lookin.
proof of what, like enabling or extortion or something?
I haven't seen any, but I only keep up with this story somewhat.
If the questions stem from her having known him well over a long time, then the first place I would look is to IU herself to see if she's addressed the shitstorm surrounding him rn or not. She owes her fans an explanation. Whether she gives it or not, idk.
People are probably going to dig on her pretty intensely anyway, because of how Oprah looks guilty for her associations with Epstein/Mazwell/Weinstein/John of God, and sometimes when a person knows someone for a long time who turns out to be a predator, then guess what....
But that's why she should say something about this probably, if she hasn't already. If she doesn't explain herself their connection and the nature of their relationship, other people will dig into it and find out for themselves.
Your gaslighting game is weak sauce, btw

Well Intended Love
I Love My President Although He Is A Psycho
(those are the top 3 apex crazy dramas)
Love And Bid Farewell (historical)
Embrace In the Dark Night
Till The End Of The Moon (wuxia)
Enslaved By Love (historical)
Nothing But You
Givin the T-dramas another shot, OK!
