I thought it was kind of "off" because they are trying to build tension that leads to this incredible kiss... I was picking up from the beginning that this actor keeps a different reputation, like Dilraba or just someone less 'sullied' by racier roles.

Well there's too much bullshit between scenes of tension, so it was trying my patience, but he is handsome, so I stick with the show. And I'm thinking "fine then, if all this builds to is an incredible kiss, then let's see this amazing kiss then."

And you get 3. The one in the snow, the long one, and the upside down one. Well, the one in the snow was pretty good if you ask me. Not good enough to justify hanging out that many episodes for, but decent. The second one was like whaaaaaat.... is that....? It's way way too long like super gratuitous, and just WEIRD. The third one was sweet but kinda dumb.

All in all, i don't know how worth it that investment of my time was. I guess it was a whatever OK and I'll give it a 7. I love both those actors, the script was a lil bit crappy.

I'm like 95% convinced he dead. Because. It goes white curtain falls (symbolism... white = death / curtain = division and separation), then the young man is clearly her son. Then she's smiling at the kid, and the smile turns into the upside down kiss. Because her love for her son is a continuation of her love for ML. The fact that he's upside down shows he's coming from an opposite "something". Like the afterlife. And it means their love is still active even though they are separated by the veil that divides life from afterlife. For them it's not over and they'll reincarnate into something better because their karma from this life has them at big net positive points.

This makes it a sad ending, but actually a happier one, ultimately. Kind of clever and sweet, but I still hated the ending all in all.

I would be suspicious of the parents as well (think like Britney Spears' parents or worse), were it not for the fact that the way they've conducted themselves after her death is the way I might if it was my daughter too. They don't want money. They want him to bend the knee and admit what he did.

They're facing a really daunting line of defense for him. Media, GM, fans, probably the justice system... are all stacked against the parents. But they are so full of rage for what happened that they take all these risks head on. It seems real, it seems like good (or at least well-meaning) parents. I guess we can't know... but if psychology is anything to go by, if they were bad parents I think everything theyd've done would've been totally different.

It sucks. I saw an MDL article about this like a week ago? And I generally don't care about this guy, he's never really been on my radar (I did watch My Love From The Star and Its Okay Not To Be Okay, but I gave them 8's and forgot about them, he's just another actor to me).

I come into the thread and saw this big brawl, and everybody was talking about shit with no sources at all. So I asked for some info and the way I asked was like "How do we know KSH isn't just getting thrown under the bus, is there proof of all this, what is the proof".... and the responses I got were all basically "Google it and kys asshole!!!" And I was like whoa.

But some nice people gave me some sources, and I checked them out, really undecided on anything. And it took like 30 - 90 mins of reading articles and looking at evidences about it, and I was like "uhh yeahhhh.... he guilty."

None of the evidences so far (afaik) are 100% titanium-clad proofs. But this is a *mountain* of circumstantial evidence that makes it look like there is no way in heaven or hell he's innocent in all this. You could be the most amateur armchair detective and put it together.

I don't care about the guy. I care whether k-culture, k-dramaland, Disney, etc will sweep this under the rug or not. Because I watch k-dramas and c-dramas because Hollywood is pure filth and I've boycotted it.

It's like.... will i have to boycott k-dramas altogether too? How will this all get handled? She was a 13yo actress when they met. Is the k-drama industry just as sick as the Hollywood machine? Or will they try to give KSR some kind of meaningful justice that ensures that children are better protected in the future? The child exploitation aspect is what bothers me. I don't really care about the fact that it was KSH, if it was any other K-drama A-lister, I'd be just as interested in following the story.
