The writer of ep 7, the actors and film crew did an excellent job of eliciting emotions.
On another note, anyone have ideas about King and his thought process? I know he has issues with his mother expecting him to be like his ‘perfect’ older brother and I understand him at least meeting the arranged date but his not talking to Uea about it, the subsequent meetings, etc..? Any ideas? Theories?
As a Vietnamese person, I actually don't really like this channel, their acting was... not really bad but not…
Is it just their acting or is it more than that (eg. editing, colouring, plots...)? I can handle less than perfect acting as I have an excellent imagination and ability to ignore it. For me it is timelines that are confusing if it isn't particularly clear. That said, if anyone watches this series and knows what the other posters on the wall are I'd like to read about it.
KinnPorsche in Vietnam. Just started watching another BL from this Vietnamese BL production company on YouTube (O2 Production) called Love Bill. In Ep. 2 he has posters on his wall. One is KinnPorsche, another is Bad Buddy and I am thinking one might be Cutie Pie, though you are welcome to comment and add your guesses for the rest. Typical cdrama in that they have the nasties, the complex ones, the who knows characters. I am thinking that cdramas are written predominantly as object lessons to teach watchers about the complexity of a person, their relationships, morality and justice and personal growth. Of course they all (that I have seen) pretty much end well, even for the less well liked characters. In some ways I like this style but sometimes the way it is done gets frustrating/annoying (insert correct word here)...
That said, I do understand both leads and the decisions they made, the drama explained why they did what the did, what they were afraid of and so on. I don't need to agree or approve of their choices or behaviours but I can see where they are coming from and learn from it.
Finally!! A series that recognizes that just because you are somehow related to another, that person's misdeeds are not yours. Chopper's dad did it all, Chopper wasn't hated or dismissed because of it.
I how this series dealt with loss. Life isn't a bed of roses and we all lose something at some point. This show gave a good example of how to overcome and move on from it.
At first, I thought their meeting points in Dew's world are non-linear (meaning Mum can pop up at any past or…
Wow, I so felt Dr. Who & River Song vibes as well!!! Their timelines are also flowing in the opposite direction to each other. Only once or twice, from memory did The Doctor pop into River's timeline 'out-of-order', but he is The Doctor in the TARDIS, Mum is not him and cannot do that (though it did feel like it for a few visits).
Stereotypical kdrama full of cliches and the twisting of religions and faiths to drive home the point that one needs to live each moment of their lives to the fullest, treat all with respect and kindness and everyone is connected to many, many others.
Not a bad drama, could have done without the ending; cannot agree, accept or be okay with the 'I will never forgive you' bit. To truly overcome bitterness and wrath and anger, one NEEDS to forgive. For those like myself who struggle with this and a whole host of other things here is a place to start:
Hmm, well I am re-watching it on Viki and I don't think it is censored. I checked the same scene out on kisskh.me and billi billi tv and they all play the same so... If you find it, let me know.
