The writers of this show asking the audience to forgive Dane is akin to the writers of "Tharntype: Lhong's Story" asking us to forgive Lhong. Until she does a couple of years in jail, or has any repercussions at all for her actions, I'm gonna have to say, "No."
Episode 9 was mostly fine. At least Ethon didn't stay mad with Martin for long. The change of scenery was kinda…
"Audio-visuals were off at times." - The lighting in the forgiveness scene were kind of hilarious. They shot Avi during the day and Solo much later as it's quite a bit darker. It was jarring and weird.
I knew where things were headed with Dane outing Ethan but ugh i hate the ex gf trope sooooo much aside from that…
I hate this trop also, very much. Ladies... if the guy you like, likes men, all you get if you "win" is years of heartache and a sexless relationship. Move on. For both your sakes.
I found My Toxic Lover last week and was watching it. Actually, I found it bad, so when I realized there is a…
Agreed. The ending of this was bad (and stupid), but it is ten times better than "My Toxic Lover". At least there is a coherent story for most of it and all of the side actors aren't YELLING all the time. "My Toxic Lover" was just awful. The head of the entertainment company is still reading her lines.... poorly. In one scene you can even hear a line prompt for her off camera. I laughed and laughed.
That moment when you witnessed something and you're not sure what to make of it. Like it happened in front of…
With some of the very repetitive dialogue... I really think the actors were just given situations and told, "Go for it!" You really don't have to repeat the same line like 8 times in the space of 20 seconds. It's weird.
These comments provide better entertainment than the series lol
The dialogue in this go so bad, I longed for the days of trying to decipher the subs from "So Much in Love". Like... if the subs were really really bad, at least it would have been entertaining.
I'm dumbfounded. What was that? Holy hell that drama was a mess. And whoever wrote that script (if there was one... I'm thinking perhaps the actors were just given situations and told to ad lib) should be taken out behind the woodshed and beaten until bloody. No one in this can act. I've seen some very very shoe-string budget productions with actors from the local colleges perform better dialogue. YELLING is NOT ACTING. I'm just sayin'.
At least the plot/storyline progressed on Episode 2. Ethon and Martin's rivalry was highlighted. Bryce and his…
"Yes, the cast members, both male and female, were gorgeous, but their acting performances were mostly horrendous. "
Boy, howdy, this is so true. I'm familiar with Aki from "My Day" and he seems to be fine, the guy playing the rival actor Martin seems to be tolerable so far, and Kevin playing Bryce seems to be ok so far, but absolutely EVERYBODY else (and there are way way too many characters in this) are horrible. Everybody is overacting and over gesturing and just generally being way too extra for the scenes that they're in. The actress playing Dane is hard to watch, as is the actor playing playing Director T. Everyone else is so weird and stiff while still being too over-the-top onscreen. I've seen better performances in a High School production of "Bye Bye Birdie". I hope some of these people get ignored later so I don't have to see them on screen any more.
With Tina's memory back and Algiro and Monsour ending up together after a time jump, Episode 9 closed the book…
Thank you for watching all of the lazy dramas (lazy writing, lazy acting, lazy sound people, lazy editors), so we do have to. So many of the lower budget Filipino BL dramas are either preachy or crazypants. While I prefer crazypants over preachy, I can watch and enjoy either of those two, but I refuse to watch something where no one even bothered to care.
I liked that a lot. Less preachy then the typical low-budget PH BL. There's plenty of overt "find yourself" and "accept yourself" stuff but it's done better than most of these. I like the leads. Even though they're newbies, they seemed comfortable with each other. The kisses were real and not camera angles or pecks. It's a nice, feel-good drama.
Episode 4 revealed more details about Alex and Gino's backgrounds. I'm just not sure if a mini-forum for sharing…
Holy terrible sound levels, Batman! I have to turn it up to hear some of them and then Kelly comes rushing in SCREAMING, trying to blow my eardrums out. Ouch. that hurt.
I like Kdramas because they are one story, one season and out. I started watching them in the first place because Western media never ever told a full story. It would either get cancelled in the middle of good storytelling, or go on for way way too long and then just disappear. I really hate this new trend of multiple seasons of anything. Feh!
