The writer intended to increase tension so when she meets him as the president in the hospital it will have more impact, but it was executed poorly. It just gave her a really terrible first impression to the viewer, especially when ML was acting like a normal decent human being to her. At least she toned down her irrational attitude by the end of ep. 2 and we're at the hospital by ep. 3 where she gets served her humble pie.

I wished Song Wu 2x could’ve been at the wedding or birthday dinner too. But that sequence of the new females selection turning into flashbacks of all the girls when they first entered the palace was chef’s kiss. Made me emotional, and I’m really glad they had YZ recall the kitchen scene as well. I was wondering if that was when he first fell for her and of course the drama had him tell us what he was thinking ☺️

We started episode one with YZ saying if he marries someone from Jichen, he’ll at least get a nice burial place and we come full circle in the final episode with him showing LW a place that would make a nice burial ground for them. This guy 😅

I was so used to all the lacking of moments that it took me by surprise to see so many, and implied ones at that. Every time the camera pans out and it goes blurry you know what’s about to go down 😆

Well he did say a quarter time wouldn’t be enough when LW tried to schedule a break in his day planner so they might not be far off from afternoon naps haha

YZ is really making up for those two years of lost time having to abstain from LW 😂
