Looks like we will move on to the next trial tomorrow, finally. I'm not impatient for anything else, but to see these trials is what I look forward to. Through them, we get more glimpses of the back hill people and they're so fascinating.

Either way, I'm nervous the drama will bomb by the end. I haven't heard the greatest things about GJM's storytelling based on his previous dramas.

I agree and would be disappointed if his character goes this route. One fool in love is enough and it makes sense with the character building of GZY. But for GSJ, it wouldn't fit.

He probably read his sister's romance novels too 🤭

It shows that GZY was willing to let the issue go and not make a big deal out of it. Another contrast on the nature of his character versus GSJ. Too bad GSJ is too blinded by his prejudice to realize this and that the better path is to work together to solve the Wufeng problem rather than being antagonistic against your own clansmen.

I try not to think too hard about it and just enjoy it as it's revealed to me. If I do I will also turn into 😵‍💫 I might pop in if something really makes my brain itch later on 😂

We don't know how many generations back the Gong clan has been established. Maybe this will be details revealed later.
The elders don't appear to be Gongs but the guardians from the back hill. We just know them as Feng Hua Xue Yue.
So we have elder Feng, elder Hua, elder Xue, elder Yue.
Elder Yue is dead so Young Master Yue came to take his place.
Child Master Xue is in the back hill.
Young Master Hua has a fascination with ZS, so he's hanging with her.
The one missing is Feng.
People speculate that they might have left and established Wufeng.

I think this is probably how the family tree goes...
Yu Lineage: Gong Ziyu - father Gong Hongyu, mother Yang Lan, older brother Gong Huanyu (different mother)
Jue Lineage: Gong Shangjue - mother Yang Ling, younger brother Lang, father unknown
Zhi Lineage: Gong Yuanzhi - father and mother unknown
Shang Lineage: Gong Zishang - bratty younger brother, father mentioned but not yet shown.
I'm assuming all their fathers are brothers or also cousins?

She did get her hands on a lot of useful info, but whether she will actually give them to him will be what I'm curious to find out, since she seems to have developed feelings for GZY now. If she doesn't then she's going to have to figure out another way to get rid of the Fortnite Flies poison. Maybe this is how it will connect to GYZ testing poison to save her.

I think when there's more action it will, especially when ML level up. Given how it's been mostly dialogue-heavy and still manages to climb is surprising. Most viewers aren't that patient lol.

As much as I hope that is an ending teaser as well, I’m still hesitant to trust it. YWS starts to have a couple other pastel outfits later on from bts I’ve seen. There’s a light beige/pale yellow one and a mint green one.
