Yeah, although his role is small, he has a lot of scenes with the little kid, who appears to be an important character, so it would ruin the flow of the back hill plot if they had to cut all scenes with him in it out.

I did find their dynamic intriguing at first, but now it's become repetitive. Every scene in the last couple of eps have been him being fierce and rough with her and her acting scared. We see YWS's progress in her mission with each new episode, but I still don't know what purpose 2nd FL is there for.
