I don’t mind it because since the beginning they have already introduced us to the twins concept with Jin Lian and Jin Luo. If they had just thrown in her twin out of nowhere just for this plot twist then I would’ve complained.

I totally thought back to the scene when he did it to her when I saw that part of the episode. Someone said if you’re patient enough to make it past the 2nd tribulation what waits for you heading into the end is a great prize. Usually dramas I’ve seen that starts out with a bang begin fizzling out near the end but this just keeps getting more exciting.
In hindsight, in the 2nd life, LCK was playing the same instrument as CH did in their original life 😭 CH said if she died, she wants to be a cloud and freely go where ever she wanted. She did become a cloud, but instead lingered around for 30K years until CK arrived again 😭😭

I wonder if CH's twin is in the Nuwa stone somehow. In episode one, it reacted when XY first touched it. Then in the 2nd life, XY came across it by chance and formed an immediate bond with Zihui. Don't twins usually have that innate connection? Maybe her spirit was absorbed into the stone. So that explains why the stone is able to resurrect CH.
