Does Qian Ren seem a little too interested in XY? Anyone else getting that vibe? When XY first arrived he appeared…
I hope they explain if CK recognized him as JL. That seems like an important point to gloss over. I know the whole "mole changing appearance" is a joke, but I still need confirmation lol.
Do you mean the headdress she was wearing in the 2nd tribulation when she was supposed to marry the prince? It…
It's a marriage she did not willingly want to participate in so the tackiness contributes to that symbolism too. Her whole wedding outfit down to her make-up were not good. Her wedding outfits during other scenes with the male lead looked much more pleasant and well designed. Maybe that's just me reading too much into it lol.
#11 first time seeing such an overly and crowded crowning for a royal wedding. Looks more like a 花痴 woman
Do you mean the headdress she was wearing in the 2nd tribulation when she was supposed to marry the prince? It looked overcrowded and was symbolic of the weight bearing down on her due to the situation she's under. On the opposite side, the place surrounding where she put in LCK's hairpin was light and bare.
I will pray hard that they'll solve it quiet and fast whatever the issues are 🙏 if not, you know antis soon…
It's kinda crazy because it'd be beneficial to have a sense of unity for the promotion of your own culture to build up your own country's creative works rather than tearing each other down to see others fail.
- The reason for the postponement today is due to copyright infringement claims by fans of the CG anime The Legend of Qin. It appears that the sword that Shifu used that was shown during his cooking in the kitchen is an exact replica of a sword shown in the anime. Their fans compiled photo evidence of the original sword from the anime for comparison and sadly it does look very much alike. - There's also another claim that some of the lyrics from A-lin's OST copied lines from one of the anime's OSTs. - The anime's official account has come forward to say they recognize this and said that no communications were had between both sides in regards to usage permission of music and props. Their legal team will be involved to take action. - A staff member from the drama's side came forward to apologize and said that he bought the sword from a props shop in Hengdian because he thought it looked cool and would be good for the drama. He said they had scanned it twice for copyright infringement prior to use and did not come up with any result so they thought it was okay to use. - A lot of the anti-fans are also using this chance to jump in and bury the drama even more. It was already struggling and just started to slightly gain momentum again yesterday and then this happens. They've had no hot searches appeared since airing and when they do it's about plagiarism 😞 - So now it's up to how the lawyers work this out and if the anime's side will play nice. I'm crossing my fingers that they resolve this smoothly and we will get our update tomorrow like they said we would.
I was going to wait till this ended but I want to be part of discussion here, so  Is it worth starting?
Everyone has their own taste. You can try out a few episodes and see if you like the style of it. What’s good to someone else might not be to your liking, but I will say the romantic plot doesn't really pick up until the end of episode 12.
Honestly I’m not a fan of the whole “loved each other 30k years ago but forgot” plot and that the FL is…
It’s probably the safest route they can go given how easily triggered the censorship bureau is. Either that or risk your drama being chopped up to pieces or never see the light of day. From what I heard there are parts in hell in the novel? If so, then that’s banned from being depicted in dramas. Maybe there are other things they know they aren’t allowed to show either. I noticed in today’s episode that two very tiny parts on the back of Chukong’s wheelchair were blurred out. That’s how ridiculous it’s become.
Don't forget he has memories from LCK's life and LCK was reading those novels from XY lol. XM looks like a playboy…
Yeah, there's a lot of parallels in this 3rd life with the 2nd life... the fake to real assassination attempt by XM, these novels, the she endangers herself to save him but he ends up saving her life instead, the hairpin... I bet there will be a new variation of these same things in the 4th life.
his first goal when he went to those tribulation is want to recover his power so it's a failure to him, because…
Emperor HX is hiding a lot of details about this. We found out from him later about how the balance of the primordial spirit works... one loses, while the other gains whenever one sacrifices themselves for the other person. (I think that's why he fudged the script in the 2nd tribulation and added in more tragedy. Immortal Li probably never wrote for them to die like that.) XM confirmed this when he read the same thing in the book. So for CK to successfully regain his full primordial spirit, XY would have to sacrifice herself first each time. If she keeps doing that, she'll eventually loses all of hers and die. CK doesn't know that, but he still can't bear to see her die in front of him. So if he saves her life by dying instead, then he doesn't regain any primordial spirit in that tribulation.
Also in this life Xuiming dresses so similarly to how Lu Chang Kong dressed in their last life. The style of the…
Haha he totally did. I’m happy for myself that I don’t feel anything negative towards him. He’s just there pushing the plot, so I can enjoy every episode without aggravation when he shows up. I’m surprised they did away with the princess so quickly, but that was good for me because I found her and stone boy’s romance underwhelming.
Every time I’m watching this drama there’s this constant awe in the back of my mind about how pretty all their clothes look. Particularly the males (same thing happened in LBFAD). All those shades of blue billowing around. Even Xiuming, who’s not of the sect, is wearing a complimentary shade to their blue when he’s there. Love his outfit with the bamboo print on it.
Does anyone want to watch the video of DYX and YCY reading the 24 letters Lu Changkong sent to Xiangyun? I’ll sub and post if you do. (If it’s not already posted anywhere)
