It’s also because so many people expected way to much from the production team, especially due to the LBFAD after effects, but was not patient enough to stick it out through the 2nd life tribulation so they dropped off earlier. Now the fans who are still watching and realize its entertainment value are doing their best to get this drama into the hot searches to boost its popularity again. BJT’s fandom is also much bigger than DYX and YCY has a good amount of haters. It’s a shame because this drama is only getting better and better as it progresses.

It is pretty tedious to constantly see it instead of all the comedic gold we got in this last two episodes. The funny thing is he appeared probably less than ten minutes out of 2 forty minutes episodes today 😂. And it’s mainly here. No one is even paying him any attention on this drama’s hot topic thread in Weibo. All I see are memes of the 4 sect members recovering from mushroom poisoning on the floor and it’s hilarious. I wish we had an image and GIF option on here. The one with Chukong going from delicately tasting to gagging on XY’s crabapple cake in .01 second has me 😂 😂

I know why Chukong doesn't recognize Jin Lian's mortal self as the demon lord, it's because....... he has a mole on his face. I'm sure of it 🤣😂🤣

I still don't find myself hating him. Especially after that revelation of how the balance of the primordial spirit works, he's really just trying to save her. I don't love him either but at least he provides some believable tension and conflict to rock the boat of our main leads a little. I find him more interesting as a villain than I do the demon lord.

It cracks me up that they were just stabbing and slicing each other in the mortal realm and now sitting around a table getting drunk together. It hasn’t been that long yet. Immortals really are carefree 😄

I have to say again Ryan Ding is really impressing me in this. He has a distinct facial expression for every emotion and one of those who act with their eyes. I like that he can do serious and goofy (Moonlight). We need a compilation of all his different “hmm” whenever he’s Chukong😂. I don’t remember him doing it while he was LCK.

I don't mind him for now because he triggers CK's jealousy and makes him do cute stuff. So it's okay 😄
