CQL Fandom is even worse. Their CP Fandom BJYX is huge and contributed enormous fan arts/videos/fictions during the promotion period for the success of the drama. But they never get much recognitions from solo fandoms or other related fandoms and the industry. The leads never mentioned them openly, secrete indication maybe. Even before the scandel, CP fans were of lower status than solo fans. I can recall the post I saw on Douban about CQL concert. The girl was so excited to report that she was on site, holding her light board with BJYX contents and trying to lift it in the sea of solo light boards. The following comments are all like: Sis, you are daring! They were just crazily happy when XZ or WYB ever gave a seemly glance over their sign board. That's how humble CP fans were. Look at the WOH concert when the whole venue was taken over by the shouting of Lang Lang Ding at day 1 and JunZhe at day 2. I can totally get why CP fans feel so emotional about it. A lot of CP fans said I don't care how they end up later but I will remember this moment forever and support them forever.

Yes, but the solo stans never think it was their fault. In their logic, it was the delulu CP fans who start all the problems. For them, all CPs are just promotion tools which only exist for a few months, and there will be always new dramas and new CP partners. So solo stans have more values than CP fans. Unfortunately it is also the general attitude in the industry. That's why there are always so many intentional dramas (fighting, conflicts among fandoms) at the end of promotion period. The companies behind the actors do not care about CP fans. They want their artists to gain more benefits and more solo fans from the CP fans and drama fans. CP fans contributed a lot for these dramas but did you ever see any leads openly thanked CP fans like ZZH did? It was like routine for all the past popular BL dramas in China until WOH. It is the first time that CP fans are publicly given respect and a decent closure for the drama fans. That's why so many CP fans and drama fans cried last night. Finally they feel appreciated.

Yes, I like this Fandom, which stays so far healthy and with full of love. I think it is largely due to GJ and ZZH themselves. They two are both sincere and of strong characters, not afraid of showing mutual support to each other in the public and have respect for CP fans, whom are always disdained or accused as trouble makers by other fandoms, used then dumped after the drama is over.

Lang Lang Ding is not only the CP name for WenZhou but also the CP name for JunZhe. It has double meanings. As WenZhou, it is flirty and nail. As JunZhe, it is Lang Wei Xian (a snack GJ loves) and ear nail(ZZH loves ear nails). It is the first time in c-entern, the drama CP and rps CP use the same name. Their CP Weibo supertopic group (currently ranked number 1 in the CP ranking) and Douban group are the two biggest CP fan groups (at least a million fans there) in China, which are all under the name of LLD. They are open for both WenZhou and JunZhe discussions.

Actually in the drama they were also reborn. It is just not that easy to tell. You have to watch the ep 36 and the extra ending. Someone wrote on Weibo @script writer about his/her discovery or guess, the script writer replied: Shuuuuu, you figured it out.

The rumor is that HE is not allowed for all BL dramas in China because of the censership (no openly promotion or encouragement for BL). At best it is an open ending like in TU. WOH is clever enough to hide the real ending in their Easter egg extra which is out of the radar of the censorship. Actually even if there is no extra, it is a HE if the talk of Cheng Ling at the end is not purposely redubbed. From the lip reading of netizens, Cheng Ling was not talking about how Liu He Shen Gong killed them but how it saved them. Another hint is that his daughter is called Nian Xiang(in the memory of Gu Xiang). If WenZhou died, he would not put Gu Xiang as the most important name for memorizing. This drama is all about hidden secrets. :-)

Yes, do so! And you could see Zhang Zhe Han inside too! :-) The only problem I have with NIF is that I could not stop every time I started to rewatch it. I needed to watch till the end and then I could let it go for a few months, then I will come back again, binge it with another non-stop round...

I totally love the acting of LYX. I like CFY a lot in Ever Night but his next drama left me quite some question marks. The drama is rumored to be on air in April. We'll see soon. :-)

Actually no need to wait till the fans are older, there are always some more handsome faces with or without better acting skills to drag these young girls away. :-D

@Xien_Rue Yes, i also think what he needs now is one or two quality drama with some solid performance. In The Untamed he is good but not there yet. In the BTS, you can see the director is the one actually should be given the credits. He used the loud speaker to give all details to the whole casts and controls the whole rhythm of the acting of all these young and inexperienced actors, like where to look down, what expression,etc. You can really tell the major difference of the acting skills between WOH cast and TU cast from BTS. ZZH and GJ is way more mature in terms of acting. They have their own thoughts and put their understanding into the roles. The director had full trust on them as well. He just let them go. The improvisations and the sparkles. Yes, XZ still has a long way to go.

Sigh, with fans like this, who needs antis? Feel so sorry for XZ. He kind of get hijacked by his own fans. After all those things, his fans get crazier in this "protecting" mode. Without any background or big company backing him up, he seems having no choice but depends even more on fans to maintain his seemingly top charted status. But how long can this last? So many good looking and talented young actors are on the way to share the market. Only those who wins the appreciation of major passerbys can stay on the top in this industry, like Hu Ge, Chen Kun. This is what exactly XZ is lacking.
