Reading comments, reviews, and plot summaries or watching short clips isn’t even close to being the same as watching a drama and reacting to it for yourself. Maybe you should try watching this show before making comments about characters and plots that don’t apply to this specific drama.

This drama is a slow burn so watching an episode or two won’t give you a sense of what happens in their relationship. But if you don’t enjoy this or any other drama after watching several episodes do yourself a favor and drop it so you can move on to something that you will enjoy.

By all means don’t force yourself to watch this drama or any other for that matter.

The characters in this drama don’t fit into the stereotypical mold that you seem to be concerned about. If you watch this drama with an open mind I think that you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the excellent writing, directing, and acting.

imo Wei Shao never turns into a simp for her. He falls in love with her and she falls in love with him but neither completely looses who they are to begin with.

You’re looking at their relationship as one has to be the winner and the other becomes the looser. They each have their strengths and weaknesses. Their relationship becomes more give and take. At times his strengths are needed in a situation and in other times her strengths are required.

Because of Tencent’s express package exclusive deal the earliest Viki can resume posting episodes 32 - 36 is June 7th. There’s no word if the last 5 episodes will be released all at once or one at a time.

LYN is listed as being 1.9 m so he’s naturally taller than most cast members in dramas.

For those of us who are watching on Viki only 29 episodes have been released so far. We will still be watching episodes when other people have finished watching the final episode on other platforms.

I agree that this drama is so good it will be difficult to leave it behind and go on to another drama. I really want to see how Prisoner of Beauty ends but at the same time I don’t want it to ever end.

This kind of feels like an idol drama that was filmed back in 2010.

It’s on viki as episode 23. I think it’s also on viu but don’t know about the available subtitles.

I’m so happy for him. This is his first ML role and I’m glad that people are recognizing his talent. I would love to see him get more ML roles especially in rom-coms or romance. He’s so attractive and adorable when he smiles.

YYS was so cute with his high school fan in episode 2. He gave her special attention and even took a selfie with her right before leaving. He’s so sweet.

After watching the first episode of Resident Playbook I wasn’t sure I would continue on with the series. But I kept watching and have grown to love all of the characters. Now I’m really sad that it’s ending this weekend. 😭

I want both RP 2 and HP 3.

Incorporating the cast of RP into HP 3 doesn’t appeal to me because the cast of RP created something very special and they deserve to have their own series.

It may be difficult to produce HP 3 anytime soon due to the difficulty of scheduling the original cast together since they’re busy with their own projects. Also the cost of HP 3 will probably be higher due to the increased salaries of the highly popular original main cast.

So far the main characters only communicate by yelling at each other. 😒

You’re right. I rechecked and the camera operator wasn’t in the ambulance. But the entire film crew gave her a thumbs up after she gave directions to 520 about the patient.

Is that when Dr Myeong decided to take advantage of the situation? She tried really hard to look like the perfect doctor in front of the camera crew by putting down and sabotaging 520 every chance she got.

I hope you’re right about Dr Myeong’s nastiness being exposed when they look at the camera footage. That would change the whole focus of the reality show that they were filming. Instead of filming an everyday hero type doctor they would have to expose a malicious scheming doctor in a major hospital.
