Well the comfort already started when they first kiss and she said to move on 🤣🤣
I laughed so hard at the episode 15 preview. šŸ˜‚ She’s a modern woman who definitely has trouble conforming to historical norms. She doesn’t really try to fit in, she just remains herself.

It's been 14 episodes and I haven't seen any progress except for the first 4 episodes. The screenwriter forgot…
You realize that Nan Heng and Li Shiliu are the same person, don’t you?

Maybe this drama doesn’t appeal to you because you don’t get the humor. It’s a parody on common drama tropes and specific scenes from popular dramas. It’s not a fast action drama.

I've only done 4 episodes and it's so repetitive. Meany ML who's not quite up to the task of killing this treacherous…
If you have the patience to keep watching it gets so much better. In the first few episodes they’re still setting up the premise for this drama. I got really hooked after watching episode 6.

This drama is so funny and yet parts are touching. Throughout this show they continue to poke fun at so many common drama tropes and specific scenes from popular cdramas.

I’m torn about watching his new drama so soon after TPoB ended. I’m not ready to let go of Wei Shao yet.

I'm so sad to see the ranking of this masterpiece continues to decline, hopefully everyone can give a wise rating…
The ranking is declining because the drama ended 3 weeks ago. A majority of interested viewers have already finished watching the drama. Experiencing a declining ranking after a drama has ended is normal for any show.

A more important statistic is the rating. The rating has held steady on MDL at 9.0. That means as new people finish watching the drama they’re still rating The Prisoner of Beauty very high. This show is a solid hit with international viewers.

Can anyone tell me which episode was it when Wei Shao told Lady Qiao that she could mourn her grandfather for…
In episode 10 Manman reminded Wei Shao of his agreement to let her mourn for one year. The conversation happened when Wei Shao carried her to bed after drinking the aphrodisiac that his mother tricked him into drinking.

The drama never showed a scene where Manman got Wei Shao to agree to her one year of mourning. We were told in episode 10 that their agreement came when they were in Panyi for their wedding. If they filmed that particular scene it was cut sometime before the 36 episodes were released.

in europe? disney plus subs dramas in europe.....
I’m happy that you personally have had good experiences with disney+ and Viki. Others of us have had good experiences with Viki, Netflix, and Amazon Prime video.

Viki has a wide selection of Asian dramas and usually many choices for subtitles. The streaming quality of Netflix (4K) is excellent and for some kdramas like Good Boy with Park Bo Gum the only way to legally watch it is on Amazon Prime video. Amazon is never my first choice for watching Asian dramas, but for some shows it’s the only legal way to watch in my region.

People have different opinions about streaming platforms based on their different experiences. There’s not one option that works for everyone. People are just offering their opinions about disney+ not being a good viable option for them.

Title The Prisoner of Beauty Spoiler
Ep 33 is when the battle is heated right? He's probably there behind the scenes since he can't be in the middle…
He shows up in episode 33 around 9 minutes into the episode.

ETA: In episode 31 after the battle was over Wei Shao took his men to find Man Man. After locating her in the inn Wei Shao decided to escort Man Man to her family home with a small group of men. The rest of the men including the advisor went back home to the Wei headquarters in Yujun. That’s why the advisor wasn’t in episode 32 which largely took place in Man Man’s family home.

Nam Ji-Woo. (Tip: if you want to look up actors names in a drama go to asianwiki because they have the most complete list.)

Refusing to use illegal streaming sources has nothing to do with a lack of being tech savvy.

All of the sources you listed have stolen the videos because they didn’t pay the licensing fee. Drama productions use the licensing fee as a source of funding for the drama. The quality of drama productions is directly affected by the

Releasing thru disney+ automatically decreases the number of international viewers who would normally watch a…
Why? Because if disney+ obtains the streaming rights for a kdrama they don’t release it for my region. Disney+ acts like westerners aren’t interested in kdramas and that so NOT true. Basically viewers in my region are locked out from watching disney+ kdramas.

Disney... which means nobody in the US and Europe will be able to watch it with subtitles...
Releasing thru disney+ automatically decreases the number of international viewers who would normally watch a kdrama. I wish disney+ would leave kdramas alone.

I’m just curious. Exactly what about him is not attractive to you? I’ve heard that some people don’t think he’s attractive and I really don’t understand.

This was my first time watching LYN in a drama and now I’m watching other dramas he’s been in. To me he’s gorgeous looking and his acting was really great in this.
