so when is myeong eunwon getting disbarred and going to jail? š¤£
She should lose her medical license because of her unethical behavior. But first her supervising doctors need to wake up and see how deceitful she is. She sucks up to her supervisors while back stabbing the residents and taking credit for the work they did. Why is it so hard for her superiors to see what a truly horrible person she is?
Sorry I donāt understand what your point is. Are you saying Han Ye Ji is a bad actress in her role as Sabi and…
When you say that Han Ye Ji used privilege to get the role of Sabi you are saying that she doesnāt have the acting ability or integrity to get the role on her own. Do you have any FACTUAL evidence that she used privilege to get the role? Do you have PROOF that sheās related to the producer or director? Do you have PROOF that someone bribed the producer or director to give her the job? The highly respected creator of Resident Playbook said that Han Ye Ji auditioned for her role just like the rest of the main cast. I choose to believe him instead of some random stranger on MDL.
MDL is a forum for discussing specific dramas. If you want to discuss your point of view of the kdrama industry maybe you should try Reddit or something similar. btw, not everyone agrees with your opinion about privilege in kdrama casting. I certainly donāt. I evaluate an actorās abilityās based on their performance in a specific role. I donāt look at rumors about the actorās background.

I still donāt understand your point. Why is it so important to you that you spread rumors about someone you donāt know? Do you have any facts about her background? Even IF she used connections to get her role, how does that affect your life?
Instead of guessing or spreading rumors about Han Ye Ji why donāt you try cheering for her big break into show business and wish her success?
I've just seen that this is the first kdrama and lead role for actress "Han Ye Ji". We agree 99% of the time it's…
Sorry I donāt understand what your point is. Are you saying Han Ye Ji is a bad actress in her role as Sabi and only got her job because of preferential treatment?
I evaluate an actor/actress ability based on their performance in a particular role. I donāt speculate about their background or how they got the role.
You canāt fix someone else. You can only change how you react towards them and the situation.
When talking with Do-won Sabi said āWhether or not I can fix them is not my problem. I have to speak my mind. I was the one negatively affected. Why should I tolerate it too? I canāt do that.ā
At that point Sabi wasnāt looking for ways that she and Nam-Kyung could both compromise and work together better. She wanted to speak her mind. Sabi finds it difficult to empathize with others so she thinks sheās the only one thatās right. Thatās not a good attitude to have if you want to problem solve and get along with your coworkers.
Jung Won Chang. I remember he appeared in The Uncanny Counter
Thank you for solving a mystery. Iāve been trying to figure out what drama Iāve seen him in before. When you gave his name I was able to find out he was also in Her Private Life.
Technically speaking this drama was planned from the beginning as a one season series. Season 2 was never planned for so itās not cancelled. According to tv ratings the number of viewers continues to increase each episode. If the producers of this drama think they can make money off of another season they will try for a second season.
tbh I would like to see Hospital Playlist 3 AND season 2 of RP. Both series are heartfelt slice of life dramas and I think we need more of these types of shows.
I just noticed that Netflix labeled Resident Playbook as a limited series. A Netflix limited series generally refers to a show that is designed to wrap up its story within a single season.
Iām disappointed. The pacing of the story is good so far but I was hoping we would get more than 12 total episodes for RP. Oh wellā¦
Sabi quickly realized her mistakes and apologized to Yi-Young. Sabi also helped Yi-Young when she was dreading…
Yes, parents teach their children that when you apologize you should say exactly what youāre apologizing for. But those words can be meaningless without a change of heart. Sabi could give a textbook apology and then turn around and keep sabotaging Yi-Young, but she wonāt. You could tell by her demeanor and actions that Sabi regretted what she did and is unlikely to sabotage Yi-Young or anyone else again.
Yi-Young says āIām sorryā to others dozens of times each episode. Sheās not interested in getting a lengthy apology from Sabi. She allowed Sabi to save face because she believes Sabi truly felt sorry for what she did. She knows that a change of heart is more important than following strict rules for an apology.
Yi-Young is a forgiving person and knows how important it is to give others a second chance. Viewers could learn a lot from Yi-Young about forgiveness and getting along with others in the workplace by watching how she handled the situation.
ETA: Iām not trying to justify Sabiās behavior when she tried to sabotage Yi-Young. Sabi was very clearly wrong in doing what she did. But she didnāt plan the sabotage, she was reacting emotionally. Afterwards she had a definite change of heart and regretted her own actions. Sabi made a big mistake that could have had negative consequences for both Yi-Young and patients. But Sabi is not pure evil. What Iām saying is that Sabi deserved a second chance. Yi-Young realized that and gave Sabi the second chance to grow and move forward.

An age difference of 8 years (in real life) really upsets you but it doesnāt bother everyone. Why waste your energy getting so upset about a fictional situation? It hasnāt even been confirmed yet that the two characters are in a romance. Let the story continue and see where itās headed before you jump to conclusions.

Oh thatās right. Sabi felt and acted really guilty but when she tried to bring up the post-it Yi-Young minimized the situation even though she saw Sabi drop the note on the floor. But at the very end of the episode when they were in the locker room changing Yi-Young thanked Sabi for staying late to help her with the skin sample and Sabi said sorry, but donāt ask why. Iām pretty sure Yi- Young knew exactly why Sabi said sorry.
Anyway, it appears that Sabi felt guilty and learned her lesson. Yi-Young didnāt want to make a big deal of the situation but judging by comments here some viewers are much more unforgiving than Yi-Young.

Itās pretty shallow to judge someoneās worth by their age or looks.
