Not sure on this - and I doubt she is a time traveler.
She was there previously so that Im Sol gets mixed up with her and meets Sun Jae. But still unclear on her significance in the current timeline - except for the fact that she points directly to evil taxi driver who otherwise has been eluding the police.

Thanks for sharing your perspectives - am with you on them and can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Just still very curious on Im Sol x Tae Sung friendship and how did they meet in school - without her bumping into Sun Jae.

Because given Sun Jae is part of Eclipse - the band started in school and Tae Sung was part of it. How is it all of it he left - and became a police officer? Also, if Im Sol knows Tae Sung - how does she not bump into In Hyuk and Sun Jae in school.

The song, Sonaki is going to bring them together?
Also - in a way to push him away, Im Sol's actions are bringing them together.

The song has been a catalyst before - making Sun Jae realize that Im Sol is a time traveler. In the preview we can see him composing/singling something - he has the lyrics from Im Sol's script (in a way his own) - and is it going to be a catalyst in bringing back his memories? That would be really poetic - quite literally.

Also this makes me think - Im Sol wanted to cut off herself from his life, but ended up writing the script which lands up in his hands. This is Fate's way of smiling/playing with them, is it? Like she literally created the fate/predestination herself.

1) Extraordinary You:
Her character, Eun Dan Ho, had to fight against all odds to be with Rowoon's character in every story within the drama. And they were tragic lovers - who could not be united in the end, but kept meeting each other cause their love was strong and memories resurfaced.

Like in the high-school story that is the main plot, they recall their time in the historical story. Then again it seems like all has been reset when in the end they are in a new story based in the university. But we see that in the end - their past feelings surface and they are very much in love against all odds. Tragic and tearfully happy ending!

2) Lovely Runner:
So far till Ep 14 - we have seen no matter the timelines and changes - Im Sol and Sun Jae are bound to be together - or rather meet again and again. Predestined/intertwined fate or what you call it - again, no matter the odds they will come together one way or the other. And just like how Haru remembers it all in Extraordinary You - am hoping and guessing the Sun Jae of latest timeline would also remember everything as he is already having visions/dreams and "weird" tingly feelings in his chest.

Just hoping that in this drama end - the evil taxi driver is caught - and Im Sol and Sun Jae get together - and it is truly a happy ending in all respect.

Kim Hye Yoon's characters have a similar fate in Extraordinary You and Lovely Runner.
Did anyone else also feel it?

Ep 14 - what an amazing episode that blew away all the inhibitions I had about how this drama would end, given Ep 11-13. So so glad - and even if the wait is going to be agonizing, am so excited for the finale next week. This is such a good drama that deserves 9+ rating. ❤️

Sharing thoughts & theories below basis this episode under first comment under spoiler tag. Do share what you think, if you have seen it so far.

1) Sun Jae will Remember Everything:

I am guessing since he is already having visions, due to some event - he will realize why he is drawn to her and the plot. Like Sun Jae says in preview - this is predestined fate and they are bound to meet and be together, one way or another. So in the end, he is going to remember everything - save Sol from taxi driver once and for all - and have a happy ending!

2) Im Sol - Tae Sung Friendship - How?

I really want to know how Im Sol and Tae Sung are such good friends? Like she changed her house, would she have changed her school / or not come to the boys wing - so as to not run into Sun Jae. But in doing so, she would have not met Tae Sung either. And how did he rectify his ways and turn up as a police officer? I hope they show the backstory here.

3) Sun Jae's backstory in new timeline?

Another backstory am interested in - Sun Jae and how he became a singer or actor - or is he part of Eclipse or what? Am not really clear - but am assuming unlike original timeline where Sun Jae had more fame than other members of Eclipse. But in this new timeline - looks like In Hyuk and Sun Jae both are equals and so are there other members? Hence the endorsement that Im Sol remarks used to be done by Sun Jae is done by In Hyuk - like all members have a equal footing - and hence the rapport is better and overall Sun Jae seems happier than the original timeline.

We see the booklet of rehab center - and am assuming it did not workout and hence he followed In Hyuk to auditions/Superstar K and got into Eclipse.

4) How does Grandma know everything?

What is this unexplained mystic power - I really want to know. But I feel it would not be explained - just like many mysteries of this real world. It is cute and makes me so happy though.

5) Why Im Sol did not alert about Evil Taxi Driver?

Given Tae Sung is such a good friend of Im Sol - why could she not tell him about taxi driver. Assuming he has not been caught for the reservoir kidnappings and murders which irrespective of timeline shift - he must have done. And given that Im sol moved away - she never interacted with him, and become his target. Still she could have confided in him as a suspicious person to be on RADAR all times - or like how in one of the timelines she shares about his hideout - she could have anonymously tipped the police off. Just thinking out loud - given he is the reason Sun Jae keeps getting harmed in every timeline - should not this be her first priority?

Or maybe she did tell Tae Sung something - as a hunch, because when they made the sketch the other police officer nods in some kind of recognition. So maybe they have been keeping tabs.

6) Targets of Evil Taxi Driver:
In preview we can see him riding fast towards Sun Jae who is experiencing headache cause of the visions / memories coming back to him. Either he will meet with an accident and it will be True Beauty all over again - or maybe he will be saved by Sol coming in between them - and losing the use of her legs again.

But why is the taxi deriver bent on harming them in this timeline? He hasn't come across Im Sol - so she cannot be his "chosen" target/ I am assuming he is trying to run away from the police chasing him and might hit Sun Jae/Sol accidently and be caught in the process somehow. Because otherwise it does not make sense why he will specifically come after either of them. Or maybe he remembers the last few timelines as well - and is out to kill/revenge.

I really hope so - like to further explain what I shared - if we had an excitement meter Ep 1-10 for me were 100/10 it was at its peak or even more. In comparison, the rest felt like 9/10. Not that it is anyway bad - just a comparison.

BUT I really hope this ends beautifully as it began!

This is when she pressed the button on the watch, which had just become the time travelling machine as Sun Jae passed away - she is transported back to the time she first met Sun Jae. This is a big question - WHY and HOW? Let me explain in detail what I think

The first time she time travelled it was 1 Jan 2023 - and she goes back to the time when she met Sun Jae at the pool. By this time their first meeting had already happened cause Sun Jae knew of her and was crushing hard as shown in Ep 2.

The second time she time travelled was again from 1 Jan 2023 a few hours later when she is in her room, but assuming it is the same day. This time she travels back to a time when she is having a the shaman perform a ritual. Now this is 10 days later than the time she was there previously. In this time, she avoids the kidnapping and hence her and Sun Jae's future changes when she returns.

In fact the third time she time travels, this is much later than 1 Jan 2023 - as they did not meet on that day. She time travels at least 2-3 days later (after they confess/kiss and he is stabbed). Which is why it makes sense that she travels back to university year of 2009 and not high school time of 2008.

As we have understood some hours in present time are days/months in past.
But point is she can never go further back from PRESENT but when she presses the button - technically the fourth time - she is already in the PAST timeline and hence was able to time jump even further than her initial first 3 times.

Regarding to why Im Sol could travel back to their first meeting as per Ep 13 I have a theory. Not sure if it makes sense 100% - but just penning it down. Under spoiler tag, first comment

Like there are just too many time jumps and loops that is kind of diluting the initial suspense and excitement imo. Completely blaming the writers for this one and I fear this might impact the overall experience. We are watching it as it airs, and hence it is still exciting to a degree - but those who will binge it will find it draggy.

I feel Ep 11 onwards the writers should have done a better job, or kept the format to 12-14 episodes. I really love love this drama - so really hoping the ending is worth it.

1] Okay I love the logic on how she time jumped again. Since Sun Jae died his watch became the time machine and she uses it to never meet him - I find this GREAT!

2] She meets Sun Jae the star again, who does not know her - and we can see from the preview they are going to bicker but he is going to chase her. Typical Sun Jae - love this boy!

3] But not sure if 3 episodes are good enough for them to have a fast-track romance and also catch the killer since as per preview he also seems to be released and coming at them again.

4] Understand that the future is changing - but who is going to explain the past mysteries?

I am really hoping this does not become a spider web of timelines, and they use the fact that since their fate is intwined the present Sun Jae would not be able to explain it but come to love Im Sol, madly. Like how - it took the man 15 years to get to it, and now you are telling me it can be done in 3 episodes only? Like I know this is drama logic and I will buy it cause I love the show - but why?

This probably should have been done in episode 10 or something. So that present folks should have had a romance timeline. I am not really frustrated but I am just scared that this change in direction might impact the initial great expectations that were set by this drama.

Okay, just finished Ep 13 and I have a lot to express. The last 2 episodes, basically the latter half of the show seems to be going in a direction that is great and keeping me hooked - but not giving me those initial level butterflies and nail-biting suspense. And please hear me out - those who know me or have seen my previous comments must know how crazy I am for for this show - so this is not a vent/rant but just an opinion.

I know literally every drama that starts off and hits the peak tends to plateau towards the second half. This drama has NOT done it yet - but is slightly/dangerously coming close - but I REALLY REALLY REALLY HOPE that I AM WRONG! WRITERS - I really don't want a TRUE BEAUTY Deja vu - even if you have so many similarities and even brought in the cutie, Kim Min Gi.

Just felt Ep 11-12 were close to being fillers with some lovely scenes here and there. Ep 13 in my mind is good enough but the ending is making me question a lot of things.

Although I want more of the drama and characters - I think 12-14 episodes would have been good. There are too many time jumps we are having that is scaring me on how this all ends. Sharing it in comment under spoiler tag - some of my thoughts.....

This looks promising - I have been looking forward to seeing Lee Chae Min in a lead role, after seeing & being impressed by his "nonchalant facade "character in See You in My 19th Life!

But really hoping this is not something like a mix of Elite x The Glory x Penthouse, but rather they get a unique story even if the themes are we know of.

Just finished till the latest Ep 6 - an seriously can't predict what will happen next.
This is turning really interesting ...

The one that goes "bicheoleom/비처럼- Like rain" right?
And the beats preceding it are suspenseful turned cute romantic! Apt for Atypical couple/family! ❤️

Oh I have been waiting for him to diversity into something like this. Given his talent, he will ace it!
Similar to Im Siwan and Lee Je Hoon, I feel he too can play any character - brining in those maniacal eyes. So so good!
