Omo! Omo! What a cast - I see Lee Hye Young as the MIL. Honestly while I know there are a lot of work she has to her name - but I have seen her in my (technically) first K-drama, Boys over Flowers as the formidable, ruthless mother of Gu Jun Pyo. What a fine actress - it will be interesting to see her here.

Kim Hee Sun - is type casted for such roles, and in a good way, She somehow does rples that are similar yet is able to bring a fresh take.

Kim Nam Hee - have seen him in Reborn Rich - and I can see similar deranged characteristics being portrayed here as well.

Looks like an interesting drama, at least by cast and premise. Definitely going to keep my eyes on it - and wait for the initial reception before starting or not.

I think so too - and even if it is a drama, that is so sad right. To be betrayed by one you trust.

At this point I feel there could be two killers too.

[1] 2023 - Original Timeline: Sun Jae was killed by someone he knew and trusted. And in an argument, he was accidently pushed off by that person and it was portrayed as suicide. I feel it could be Manager, In Hyuk or both in this case.

OR: it could be the taxi driver - since he and Sun Jae has seen each others' faces in the past, 2008 original timeline. Taxi driver could have waited all this years to make a plan and somehow become a part of the agency that looks after Eclipse. OR pretended to be, even Hotel staff but Sun Jae doesn't recognise him until they meet in the hotel room. Somehow he managed to sneak in and therefore, makes him unconscious, maybe chloroform, and then pushes him off the room to the pool. Sun Jae was overpowered in the room as he was fatigued and thus, drowned as he was unconscious.

[2] 2023 - New Timeline, since Im Sol changed her fate - the butterfly effect has altered the way Sun Jae is also attacked. This time - it is highly likely the Taxi Driver who has stabbed him, in retaliation for the 2008 and 2009 incident. 2008 - we know taxi driver sees Sun Jae, but not him. 2009 - the event is not clear, but we know from Im Sol's dream and confession (break-up as friends too) - that he was there and had a major role in her rescue. Taxi Driver being a psycho is pissed that his plans are all being thwarted by Sun Jae time and again, and so he plots for his revenge - in jail (if he was caught in 2009) or in hiding. Finally he gets the chance post concert in 2023.

In this changed timeline, since Sun Jae was stabbed - I doubt anyone close to him, would take such a drastic step. We can see it is not In Hyuk, as they have a very close relationship - I am guessing since school. It is not the earlier timeline, where he felt inferior and his fans attacked Sun Jae and all. Even manager who seems sus in original timeline case, has not made an appearance since in new timeline - so is he even there. Still, his involvement does not make much sense in this timeline.

Doesn't Yun Ha-jeong (Single's Inferno S3) look a lot like Kang Han Na?

Not sure, if someone has already seen this and shared - but just was seeing Running Man episode where Han-na is there. And even though I have seen her before in dramas, seeing here here as her self outside of any character made me go like Ha Jeong looks a lot like her.

Hmm quite possible - he was mentally fatigued the first timeline, and that is why the killer could have overpowered him. Still, not sure why his instincts did not kick in and he fought to survive - like that is our human/animal nature.

But yes, this could be one aspect. Or worse someone did harm him before pushing him to the water.

All in all - it is going to be shocking when Im Sol understands this and relates to the original timeline. Interesting so see how she will save him knowing all the facts.

I have a feeling she will also assume that bad things happen to Sun Jae when she is around - like only one of them can be happy or something like that. Which is why she will also try to stay away from him, or worse think of sacrificing herself to save him.

I know this drama will have an happy ending - it is only a matter of time for us to see, at what cost? Butterfly Effect is real - but then this is drama and I really hope all our favorite characters get a happy ending and closure, while the evil folks get a taste of their own medicine.

If only MDL usernames had audio - I'd like to use Kim Hye Yoon's voice for mine. One of the reasons for me keeping it was the way she used it in Extraordinary You and now here as well. She sometimes acts like an elder person in a younger woman's body - it is so funny and memorable.

And yes, same reaction - Omo! Omo! Omo! everytime I see hot men with or without moles on-screen.

By now we know that he was murdered and did not take his own life. But referring back to the original timeline of 2023 - he is at the hotel room, and the doorbell rings. The scene then cuts to the hotel pool where someone falls. Later on we see via videos that it was Sun Jae and he had been underwater for very long. The news then breaks of his death and autopsy was being done - but we do not know the results for sure, but it was cited as suicide.

Now just for the fact that he drowned - seems off to me, given that he was such a good swimmer. Even if his shoulder was injured, his survival instincts and old habits would have kicked in, and he would have been able to hold his breath long enough to kick and break to the water surface.

The only reason I can thing of is -
[1] He was pushed, and the impact with water from that height made him lose consciousness and he drowned.
[2] Before being pushed off the hotel room, he was made unconscious by some brute force attack/or injected some sort of drug forcefully - not sure if done by someone known or taxi driver.
[3] The person he met in hotel room was someone known, and they slipped him something in his drink/food that made him unconscious - and then pushed him off. For this if it is someone known - my suspicions are on the Manager, and I hope not - but even his friend In Hyuk.
[4] If it is case 3 and 4, then I think someone in the police and forensic department is also hiding something. Cause why was this not released in the news? Or they did not want to make it a big news? -- Again, seems like Manager definitely knows more than he is letting on.

How could Sun Jae in present 2023 (first time) could have drowned?
Just a thought as I was rewatching Lovely Runner Ep 3 (yes, I'm obsessed with this show).

Hmm - just curious to see if that is true how will she find that G-shock watch. Given that the hotel premises and probably his home would be off limits to outsiders.

Ep 9 preview shows she is going to time travel - again. But HOW - since the watch is gone?

I am guessing, going my the theory I shared in earlier comment (Point #8 in comment: https://kisskh.at/750099-time-walking-on-memory#comment-17135555) that maybe the time capsule winding clock will help. Afterall it was given so that Sun Jae's time doesn't stay still, but flows.

I think he is going to play a major role - in helping catch the taxi driver. He is the son of the detective + I think Im Sol's words hit hard, to get his life together.

Unless he is a time traveler too? Or help Im Sol get back the third time?

Oh dear - I thought so that the time travelling is left. Especially after what Sol's friend said in the hospital - that she won't gamble with her fate.

I have a feeling now when she time travels, she would want to erase herself from Sun Jae's life. Cause whenever he helps her, he also gets in danger. Maybe she will succeed - but the ending could be that no matter what, Sun Jae will find her and be in love with her. Or maybe they will get to catch the taxi driver and end the vicious ill-fate and live happily ever after.

Ep 8 was magic - it has been a long time since a k-drama kiss made me feel this way. It had that tenderness, awkwardness, longing, care. passion, love - all rolled into one. Simply magic! It was such a realistic (for ones sharing their first kiss) and cute moment, and such an obvious space setting too. That initial hesitation through the eyes, then that little tug, and finally giving in to their feelings that they have kept in for so long.

And that purse drop! 🔥🔥🔥Guess not a hot night, but early morning for sure #iykyk
