I am thinking of this show - like the brilliant anime movie - Your Name, and so there two people switched, but time travel instance was minimum. Unless makers of Lovely Runner are also gunning for something like the German show - Dark, or Taiwanese drama - Someday/One day ... then cannot say.
At this point - I guess all theories are pretty interesting - I like your hint for the taxi driver and his twitch, I missed that. Guess will have to see what the writers think - I have a feeling what if they surprise us all !!!

His father asked him to take a semester off and try the rehab, so I was guessing that it would be like 3-4 months or something.
But yes now reading your comment - and the fact that this is a very common trope in dramas, how some years pass - but old lovers unite etc. Plus this is from the same webtoon writer as True Beauty - and we know what happened there in Ep 14 and onwards, so you never know what began as few months could turn into years.
And that would be some serious bad luck or rather how fate works - that no matter what you do, what is written in your fate/destiny will occur. It can be pushed by a few years/sometime, but will happen in some form or the other.
And if that is the case - I have this bad feeling that Im Sol will sacrifice herself. Like she will not die - but she will again lose the use of her legs. Sun Jae will live and they will unite - but the cost of his life would be her legs. That would be sad too.
Honestly I just want them to have a clean, beautiful - everyone is healthy and happy kind of ending.
