After Do Ha literally made Syaon a star (no matter the talent of hers, right marketing and songwriting is important),…
Oh this was another relationship, that a few minutes spoke volume. Totally agree - the police guy was ready to spend his life with her but could not tell Sol Hee the truth of what was going on in his life.
That means he did not see her as an equal trustworthy partner, so it was good of Sol Hee to end it. She kept asking for reasons to stay in the relationship, but he had no answers.
Guess that it was a sign - and you are right, I have not seen 2521 - but like this thought: a relationship cannot be one sided. If only one person is doing everything to sustain it, might as well separate and move on.
Guess this is the case with police guy and Sol Hee as well, hope they execute it that ways too. I mean its okay she cares for him on some level - human to human, but I hope there are no rekindled/confusing feelings (looked like seeing his injured hand and something in the trailer for Ep 8) and I really hope the police guy does not ask her out again - like really? after all that happened?
I have a theory on this - writing it as a comment in spoiler tag below.I believe many who are watching the show…
That's a good catch. I actually thought it could be cause all of them did think it was the truth in the cafe, since they saw the post on social media - including the blue suit woman - since they were not the culprit/liar (the realtor and his family was).
I saw them for the first time when I saw a notification for my 2nd badge. They are damn cute - but I would like to know more what they are and how they work.

Oh that's sad that you are dropping this one - I get you, K-dramas have been this way for some time. I mean I had a bad experience with another recent drama (Heartbeat). π
But then we watch dramas (like rom-coms especially) cause it's something dreamy and doesn't happen in real life. That is why we wish that it would. There are other dramas where it is more closer to life (like many slice-of-life dramas, or ones based on true stories). At the end of the day they have to proceed with a fictional twist in all dramas cause this is what entertainment and media is - a form of escapism from reality or depiction of real world in a creative way.
I am not dropping this drama, cause so far to me this drama has been interesting, just a bit slow paced for my liking. (Plus I have dropped too many). Only complaint is what I have shared with Syaon's character - or rather it is a future complaint, in case the writers gloss over her mistakes and choose to give her a happy ending. Cause even now we are seeing that people are standing by her and not telling her on her face what she is doing wrong.
I rather as a person, especially as a friend, tell the ones am close to that this is where they are wrong and they need to improve, rather than just hide it under a rug or get frustrated and leave them be. Maybe I am bringing too many personal feels, but I guess that the power of drama - they make you invested in the story π
Still hoping that the ending is more logical, even with all the magical lovey-dovey fluffs!
Omg! This is the power of drama - I have theories on this. Sharing them below in spoiler tag.
Theory 1: She is alive and was pregnant - but not with the CEO but his brother.
Seems unlikely cause she was crazy about Do Ha - so why would she have an affair with someone else? But it could be a drunken mistake - she was sad that Do Ha was leaving town and so she gets drunk and either consensually or not, she sleeps with the brother. OR maybe to spite Do Ha because he was leaving her, she does have an affair with the brother. But realizes her mistake and therefore attempts to kill herself. Do Ha witnesses it and thinks she is dead - which is where CEO and his brother come, and ask him to leave the scene. Now here too - either CEO and brother realise that she is alive, and then hide her cause she is not of sound mind and can ruin Do Ha's career. OR only the brother knows, and either he is the one who kills her and hides her body - or he hides her cause of the pregnancy.
I believe the brother is the killer - cause otherwise had she been alive, she would try to find Do Ha.
Theory 2: She was injured badly and has amnesia.
She is washed away in the sea after being injured - that where we last see them. But she is actually alive and on some island, having lost her memory. The brother (and CEO) asked Do Ha to run away at the time of incident, but probably they get to know this while searching for her. But decide to keep her hidden as she is bad for Do Ha's sanity and career. Or maybe just the brother knows it and is using this as a hidden card to use against the CEO and Do Ha at some point in future.
In any case - she might gain back her memories and come back in Do Ha's life at precisely that point - when Do Ha and Sol Hee are dating. (Usual Drama Amnesia-Ex Lover Scenario).
He didn't kill anyone, he just BELIEVES he did and that's HIS truth.
I have a theory on this - writing it as a comment in spoiler tag below. I believe many who are watching the show would believe it or something similar.

I think that is what we will realise in the end, maybe through Do Ha's character or some other character - that there is a loop hole in the lie detecting powers.
Like Sol Hee will get to know there is a loophole - either some character will be able to get away with lying if they do not believe it in some case they will come across. Like they all would know that he is lying or Sol Hee would have witness them, but while speaking she will not be able to hear it cause that person does not believe it. (Kind of a psychopath behaviour - I hope they have such a character would be interesting).
Or not a new character but overtime with Do Ha himself, she will understand that he is not a liar, but because of the guilt everyone's made him feel - he believes in the lie and hence Sol Hee hears that ring.
But I think having another character would make this theory more solid, cause otherwise Sol Hee would not believe it herself cause all her life she is believed her powers and has never encountered any loopholes.
After watching Ep 7, have so much to say regarding Syaon. Adding them under spoiler tag below. Anyone else who…
After Do Ha literally made Syaon a star (no matter the talent of hers, right marketing and songwriting is important), this is such a sad way of behaving to her friend/crush. She literally wants to exploit his weakness to be close to him - what kind of twisted mentality is that? I mean I know she needs to have some minus points as a second female lead/rival of the main female lead, but this is so sad and infuriating.
And I guess we will see her get along with Baek Chi Hoon in the end, in typical tsundere behaviour: after being mean to him - but he will always like her as her fan, or maybe help her have a change of heart and they might get together.
But just his whole idea of using someone's one mistake/weakness to make someone suffer is so bad. Just wanted to voice it out - because I know many people do it IRL too, not letting people live normally just because they did some mistake in past.
I don't hate the person just this behaviour is so toxic - which is why I hope the writers don't sugarcoat it and make it all a happy ending. Like actually I feel bad for the actress, cause she has such a role - but she is playing it so well, and hence we can as an audience dislike Syaon's behavior. But then someone has to play such a role just hoping the writers give such a character a realistic ending and not all rainbows and butterflies!
After watching Ep 7, have so much to say regarding Syaon. Adding them under spoiler tag below. Anyone else who saw the episodes till 7 feel the same way?
Addition: Just realised with everyone's comments: there are more people like Syaon - the FL's mother too is guilt-tripping her daughter like Syaon is with Do Ha.
Guess - this is what the writers are trying to showcase. Guilt-tripping someone for a mistake for all their lives and not letting them (or their own selves) move forward is just so sad.
Can't wait to watch and be awed by the talent of this man, once again!
He has literally proved his mettle - just like some senior actors of the industry, you see his name in any project and you know you want to watch the show/film cause you believe like always, if nothing you will witness sheer acting brilliance by Im Siwan!
I don't know whether to be happy that I have someone else also feels this way or be sad that so many of us had…
Signal is one of the "forever in top ranking" dramas! I am 1000% positive you will love it and want more of it.
*Slight Spoiler Tip* If you are into Jdramas as well, and you feel you want to see a little beyond the 16th episode of Korean version of Signal.
They have done these same 16 episode + 2 specials that is a little after the main story. Personally I found it equally good as Korean Signal, and it starts my favorite Japanese actor, Kentaro hence even more likeable and find him the equal counterpart of my favorite, Lee Je Hoon
He and his brother, they are definitely involved or to some level. There is something mentioned about an alibi…
That's a little hard to digest right now, given we are seeing them in very different roles here. But yes, both are such wonderful actors so looking forward to see them in their various projects!

Hoping the writers hear us :P
Does it end on an open-ended note and there could be a S2 or is it complete?
It reminds me a lot like another Japanese movie, The 100th Love with You - hence asking...
But yeah this makes sense too!
Hope my heart, mind and soul can handle so much hotness π₯π₯π₯
They are damn cute - but I would like to know more what they are and how they work.
Any one can help explain or share a link to it?
No matter the plot, will watch it for their acting prowess π

My takeaway is - go back to watching completed dramas or ones that have had favorable scores by the time 70-80% of the drama has aired.
