Questions: 1. What was that cursed red hand that was affecting Sin-yu? 2. If the spells don't work why is Sin-yu…
Thanks for sharing your thoughts - and yes I think this way too! I am so glad that the SML is actively pursuing her now - though I know I will be biased towards the main leads. They are so cute and I think both are swayed in their own way.
Guess there is no spell and it was just a way of bringing two people together who are destined to be so, given they could have been separated due to their situation or evil plans of someone.
Questions: 1. What was that cursed red hand that was affecting Sin-yu? 2. If the spells don't work why is Sin-yu…
Interesting and thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Regarding the Cursed Red Hand: I am guessing - in the past Hong Jo was either related or an apprentice of the spell-book writer, Aeng-Cho who was killed by Sin-yu's ancestor.
I am guessing past life Hong-Jo and Sin-yu were in love, but then someone lay a seed of doubt in Sin-yu's mind that he is under the spell of the Aeng-Cho, so he kills her. Either she or Hong-Jo in her distraught state - curses him and his family.
Now reincarnated - the curse has come to present day Sin Yu, and the red hand is of Aeng Cho. To make things right, the wooden box and spell-book landed in Hong-Jo's hand cause only she has the power to break the curse of her master/or herself (depending who cast the curse) and rekindle her destined love with Sin-yu.
Maybe this is why since he is close to Hong-Jo, since then the red hand disappeared as his feelings grew for her. Cause maybe even the evil spirit still likes Hong-Jo (cause they are relatives or a dear apprentice like family of past life).
Also - I did not understand that if Sin-yu's ancestor killed the past shamam then why are they protecting the shrine? Maybe it is penance.
6 - it is still not very active pursuit, but yes, definitely there. I guess his feelings surfaced since Sin Yu has also declared his love for Hong Ju. Men being jealous and petty - love it! 😂😂😂
8 - if the manager drank the rest of the potion, then he should be in love with Hong Jo - but he's clearly in love with Ms Ma! I really hope they end up together.
Questions: 1. What was that cursed red hand that was affecting Sin-yu? 2. If the spells don't work why is Sin-yu…
Ah thanks!
And looks like she might be related to the spell book writer? But then she was killed by the ancestors of Sin Yu's family so that cannot be right. Maybe just a shamam in the family.
Theory: They feel that the spells are not working and everything is happening cause it is their choice. It will…
And then we will have our happily ever after! But yes the hurdle that all drama couples go through - it can be in form of ex-lovers or jealous second leads or conniving evil mother in laws. Looks like in this case it is the seed of doubt - whether their love is real or a work of the spell.
Theory: They feel that the spells are not working and everything is happening cause it is their choice. It will…
Oh yes - I could not recall who was that guy. Thanks for reminding me. Now it makes it even worse.
It definitely seems like a business related relationship than love. But the initial episodes had me guessing that maybe Na Yeon genuinely cares and likes Sin-Yu. Guess his mom is right to not like her a 100%.
For anyone debating whether they should watch this drama...
I personally had great expectation from this drama when it was announced cause the story seemed interesting. Plus I love Rowoon and Bo Ah a lot - and believe they are really talented.
The initial 2 episodes were not that great - it was a little slow-paced for my liking and I was more confused and sleepy. But I am so glad it picked up from Ep 3 and keeps getting exciting with every episode! 💖
Right now: the things that are working are: - Rowoon and Bo Ah are fantastic in their individual characters and them together it is cute, funny and heart-eyes as we want them to get together! - The mystery angle is also building up with the spell-book, curse of Rowoon's character and what is the relation (if any) to their past lives? - the love triangle has just started, it is not the greatest - but has its comical and jealous moments - but all is not super great, we have some unlikeable characters as well as they work to bring the main couples apart
All in all, it is all the right ingredients to have the recipe for a great drama. But then 7 episodes is too early to share any verdict, given that I personally have been hurt by how some recent dramas turned out in the end 😭
Still - if you like cute rom-coms, with a bit of mystery/fantasy elements, tune into this one. Hopefully it makes your mid-week as exciting as it does mine - and fingers-crossed it ends well too! 🤞🏼
Have some questions - after Ep 7: anyone who's seen so far, what do you think? Adding it as first comment below…
Questions: 1. What was that cursed red hand that was affecting Sin-yu? 2. If the spells don't work why is Sin-yu not questioning the red hand being gone? 3. How is the shamam auntie related to Sin-yu? (did I miss it, I forgot) 4. What is the curse in actual - early death for members of Sin Yu's family? If so then how is his father still there and also his grandfather? They were shown in the first episode when they share a drink at the funeral... 5. Why does Na Yeon want to marry Sin Yu when she does not love him? More money/fame/power? The dude she was cheating with seemed pretty well off too..?? 6. Why is SML beating around the bush - he clearly likes Hong Jo.. 7. What's up with stalker/creepy garden uncle? 8. Will the Onju team manager - Gong Seo Gu and head, Ma Eun Young be a couple? I really hope so! 9. Will there be something between - Sin Yu's mother and his friend? Why do I want it to happen - well, I know cause Sin Yu's father doesn't care for her while the friend is attentive.
Theories and Thoughts after Seeing today's Ep 7 🤓 (First Comment Under Spoiler Tag)Anyone's who's seen till…
Theory: They feel that the spells are not working and everything is happening cause it is their choice. It will turn out that Sin-yu and Hong-Jo will get together and fall in love, only for it to be revealed in the end that spells do work - which will make them question is their love real?
Past Life Theory: Sin Yu was a nobleman or royal and Hong-Ju was an apprentice to the spell book writer or a relative or herself. They did like each other, but Sin Yu or someone in his family or ex-lover might have put a seed of doubt, that it is not real love, but a spell.
Thoughts - about Na-Yeon: Given her behavior in high school towards Hong-Jo, we already knew she was a bad person. Her cheating revelation makes her more detestable.

P.S. - I was so happy when this couple was announced to lead this show, and oh boy the casting was so right - they are so good together on-screen! ❤️ Love Rowoon & Bo-Ah individually and together they are just 🔥*internally screaming*
so those who saw the latest episode 14 would know that it was revealed that the CEO of J Entertainment, Do Ha's…
Either he did not like her - or any other woman to be near Do Ha. Like in his own twisted way he thought that if he could not express his love, he won't let any woman do it too.
Like he did not mean to congratulate Sol Hee, in some ways keeps Syaon apart from Do Ha - maybe he did not like Eom Ji and how she was clinging to Do Ha. Also she was a very toxic person who was kind of threatening Do Ha's peace and career too. Which is why he decided to take it in his own hands.
Maybe Eom Ji probably made fun of him or threatened him. Like when he is facing Sol Hee, a background voice does say " Stop Liking Seung Ju" - in Eom Ji's voice. So maybe she knew he liked Do Ha, and taunted him - which agitated him to hit her, and accidently or actually kill her.
Guess, we need to wait for another week to have the answers :)
Thank you for saying this. I always feel bad reading comments about his acting but we can't please everyone. In…
Oh this is news to me - even in variety shows, I thought he seemed like an introvert, and I felt which is why he is portraying these roles so well. Personally I thought it was good to have fellow introverts on screen and made me happy!
But yes, I feel - he is not the best actor out there, rather he is someone who is still growing and I hope he continues to do so. Also, gets the right opportunity as well to grow and hone his skill.
I personally would like to see more of his work, given the plot/character and all is also done well cause that will enhance/make or break his efforts as an actor!
To reply to the 3rd point... I think this idol/actor has a roles cut to his abilities. He acted also in Alchemy…
I think it is closest to his personality. I mean my reference is just the show - I Live Alone, and it seems evident that he is not the wild party person or someone is too vocal but rather someone who is reserved and likes to hang out in a smaller setting with close friends.
His role in My Lovely Liar is the only one I have seen and he plays a character similar to that. And going by what you and others have shared, seems to be the case in other shows as well.
Idk if he relates as an introvert, but I see him as that - and so as a fellow introvert, kind of makes me smile seeing such an actor and character onscreen!
What did you all think of the last scene of Ep 14 - the impact on Sol Hee (O_O)I have a funny observation on it…
Looks like the blast could impact her hearing powers - and the lie detection could go away. If it does, the timing is so sad - she had just become appreciative of her powers only to be taken away?
I guess she would be happy - but my funny mind is thinking what will happen to her business? Will she close it down / only run the cafe business?
Or will she con people on the pretext of hearing lies - bet her mother would be happy :P Haha, jokes apart - hope the ending is a nice finish!
About the real killer of Choi Eom Ji and their motive - a lot of us did suspect it but I didn't think they would…
so those who saw the latest episode 14 would know that it was revealed that the CEO of J Entertainment, Do Ha's friend/brother-like figure, Deuk Chan is the culprit.
A lot of us suspected it : EITHER as a real killer who threw Do Ha and then his brother under the bus, for his success & fame. And possibly working under the direction of Do Ha's mother. OR the alternative which the writers actually decided to go with - he actually loved Do Ha, and so could not bear Eom Ji and even Sol Hee.
Tbh, the motive while a good twist is not a great twist, in fact the execution seems a little bleak. Like am okay with the revelation but my mind is not blown away - it is not impactful.
In any case - since watching him in Tomorrow and hoping for a BL/Bromance since then for Yun Ji On, cause he's such a talent - a part of me is glad that it was realised in a way in this unrequited form in this drama :]
I am so glad that the SML is actively pursuing her now - though I know I will be biased towards the main leads. They are so cute and I think both are swayed in their own way.
