This is quintessential, classic BL. Fun characters, a bit of wtf, a bit of drama but not too much, crack humour here and there and some teasing romance. I applaud with all my hands. JBLs are killing it this year!
PS: Hama Shogo, the actor playing the lawyer, is insanely beautiful and talented. Like it’s not even funny.
After rewatching ep. 2 and reading opinions I noticed no one seems to mind or notice that Kant bahevior is big…
I don’t think I read “characters appearing in this drama follow the law and moral code at all times” on the series poster lmao. No wonder GMMTV prefers (preferred?) to stick to harmless uni BLs.
JoongDunk being 10x freakier than FirstKhao is the twist of the year lmao. Their characters’ dynamic is what is keeping me watching right now. The locker kiss looked painful but the sauna and me-time scenes had me blushing like a schoolgirl.
The plot is probably just a sextuple “liar revealed” waiting to happen, half of the scenes are unintentionally funny and Dunk’s acting is still sometimes a bit unnatural (this IS his best character tho) but idgaf gimme more!
Thank you for comforting me in my decision to skip TMS season 2.
Oh it was funny indeed! And told me the hunch I had when watching the TMS 2 trailer was correct. I’ll keep living my life blissfully thinking there was only one season.
Perfection. Absolute perfection. Please, please, PLEASE let it stay that good until the end. No over the top drama, no miscommunication, no cliché misunderstandings I BEG YOU. So it can be my Japanese BL of the year.
Acting and filmography are top notch, and yet it made me feel nothing and I don't particularly like any of the characters. After the first half everything seems unnecessarily sad and complicated. Disappearing for 10 years? Really? And for what? I think this just isn't my genre of story. (My age starts with a 3 so, no, I don't need to come back to it when I'm older.)
I had the same reaction when I saw the Kai actor from up close haha. I was like my dude you're pushing 40 what…
His looks are fine, actually he even reminds me a bit of the actor who played Sky! He just looks much older than his character should. But let's see how it plays out. I'm kind of looking forward to the Kai-Fuma part because of this now.
(And I said we look young, the "good" part is up for debate haha.)

I'm in the 30-40 age bracket and so are all my friends, and we all look younger than the actor playing Kai. I guess we were all genetically blessed.
Whether the actor really is almost 40 or not, visually he looks much older than a university student and than his co-star, who is supposed to be older than him, so I maintain my opinion. Still, we can assume he was the best out of all the actors who applied so fingers crossed that his acting makes me forget about it. And if it doesn't it's no big deal, I can just drop the show.
I just burst out laughing at the but spanking scene I never imagined that scene could get any more unserious.…
I had the same reaction when I saw the Kai actor from up close haha. I was like my dude you're pushing 40 what are you doing playing a uni freshman?? Don't you have kids and a mortgage to take care of?
They have ZERO time lmao they are speedingggg. If they cut the scene where Rain calms down Phayu at the racing place, I'll be sad. It shows how much Rain has matured and reverses their roles, also showing that they're becoming more equal-footed. Otherwise, very fun to see the same story with other actors.
