I haven't seen him much and I also dont think he's particularly bad at acting either. Just miscast for this role. And lacking romantic chemistry with PSH. (As friends or crime acquaintances they were fine).

tbh I found him the weakest part of the drama

Loved PSH. The role seemed made for her. On the other hand, the romance was just not it. Which is a pity because her growing feelings for the ML is clearly a huge significant part of her character growth. But I just couldn't buy it. Romance Chemistry wise nor writing wise.

I don't think the kiss or when it happens is the issue. Kdramas are a master at making us giggle and kick our feet watching romcom leads build up to simple "hand holding". Good ol' days we used to know to expect the first kiss on the 8th episode lol, regardless of the character's dating status

It's not a crime to not enjoy something everyone else loves nor a crime to get a happy kick out of watching lower quality / hated stuff.

I read that as Gong Yoo pairing with Shin Hye Sun and got all excited coming in.

To be fair, atleast the original source for Moving has a full universe of series and doesn’t just start or end approximately where the tv adaptation ended.

Unlike Netflix trying to milk successful adaptations or normal one off scripts.

I took it to mean that they were in fact bio siblings, since they never actually confirmed either way. And because she tore up and threw away the test results papers, she was trying to hide from the world, her family and herself the truth and feeling of guilt and shame.

Or she just really wanted them to be her long lost biological family even if she’d already f*cked her ‘not “brother”, and that’s why she threw away the results….

But, then why didn’t she show it to her husband? Who was going insane?? And I don’t think the brother-not-maybe-brother read the DNA test results either? Or was he the one that was adopted and his mom was actually her bio mom?

I don’t know anything about the plot, characters or og film, but the actors ? He’s an 87, she’s 82 liner. 5 years is normal.

It’d be concerning if between a 20 and 15 year old. Around 40ish year olds? Not even visible unless you’re otherwise aware.

I’d suggest you go back and look at all the dramas you’ve watched and see how many on screen couples are around 4-5 years apart in real life when their characters were same age.

Netflix dramas really have that, it’s an American K-drama feel lol. But I’m too exposed to their style now, so it’s doesn’t always feel that way anymore. :/

Oh thanks for letting me know about those dramas. Especially the one with Han Suk Kyo in a psychological crime thriller again. Hope I like it.

I don’t care if they don’t personally want to have a kid. That’s another matter.

My point was many of these celebs actually want a family. You even hear them say so in early years of their career when they’re still in their 20s. But then they don’t get married until 40+ because of their jobs specifically. And then some don’t get married at all because it’s too late for them to find anybody. And for women, it can get harder to have a child if they wanted one.

So in that I applaud Park Shin Hye for handling her personal and career life in balance, not sacrificing one for the other and not being afraid of being a young married woman in the drama industry. (Which are discriminated against in their country in various jobs). She’s setting a good example for whoever does want the same as her, family + career.

This reminds me, it’s a pity how quickly we can go from being diehard fans to feeling overexposed with actors. :/

I think, if you really like an actor/actress and want to enjoy them for a long time, it’s best to just not stay updated with every new project of theirs. Only if they come out with something really good or something you really want to watch.

I remember this exact same sentiment when Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum had their romance drama. People were squealing because she was still married to SJK and PBG was his friend. Then the divorce happened shortly after and oh god, more freaking out.

And look I’m not a fan of PBG because of his cult upbringing, but merlin dear lord, did people overreact.

This sad reaction happens more often to actresses than married actors.

Park Shin Hye should be awarded for getting married before 40 And having a kid despite being a Hallyu actress and then coming back to film more romance dramas. More K-actors need to be like her. Especially with the depressing birth rates in their country.

He did though? Wiki shows them both winning in the same category.

Not that it matters as these awards are basically there to promote or recognise the few dramas the channel has every year.
