What is it that changed TTJ...is it not love? LSS taught him to love himself and others. For TTJ it was always LSS. He set himself on fire and forgot all about being king. Do not belittle a show for the very 'love' this show also has. Every story has to have a beginning, middle and end. There is a reason for it proven in literature and why the outrage is perfectly understandable. The source had many flaws but the ending was not one of them and of all the things they chose to remove, they removed a perfectly good ending.

I should be upset...like really upset...but I am not..because I still have Legend of Shen Li and Love Seven Times coming. And thank goodness they are with Iqiyi. Also have Hidden Love and Esther's new drama to look forward to. That said, having watched a few Xianxia dramas LBFAD is honestly the most well rounded to date. And was not even a fan of the leads when I watched that. I am a fan of Leo and Bai Lu and if not for them would have dropped this. If censorship is going to ruin storytelling then drama producers should stop looking at editing to fix the story but at more solid writing. And that's what LBFAD did well. They took the salient points and made a good drama. Did we really have to watch how TTJ was the evil fetus like 10+ times...no we didn't. I must be getting old. I did relish at the announcement of shorter dramas...no more second lead fillers but in this story the second lead story was actually entertaining but did not get a chance....tsk tsk.this is me being ok. I think. A very broad definition of 'ok'

I will not accept an Immortal Samsara ending. Crap both IS and SL was under Youku with crap ending. I hate if they both sacrifice themselves. Started watching this drama last Wednesday and so obsessed since but just also finished reading the novel and recovered some sanity. I hope they deviate a bit from the novel or that was a mighty waste of time

I don't think so. Reincarnation will not really be in line with alchemy of souls. The show itself has been showing us that the souls are meant to be kept alive by shifting bodies. Reincarnation will make the show into a joke
