JU on the other hand was allowed character development. We must remember JU is more grey. While Yul is 'white'. He chose Naksu as his master for selfish reasons even if it meant making a deal with a soul shifter. He has learned not to act harshly to protect the people around him. But not enough to be king. Hence it my be in his stars but he will not make a good politician. Push comes to shove he will choose his loved ones. The CP on the other hand is willing to sacrifice 'some' people for power and state. Which makes him a better politician.
Ok people, give me your thoughts abou SEO YUL After it was confirmed for himself that he wanted to kill Naksu,…
Seo Yul basically showed us why he would never get the girl. Frankly I am not sure why people are so angry with him. In S1 when he found out she was Naksu, he kept her secret and removed himself but she ended up killing JU. Hence he carried that guilt. It was already on his mind because he voiced had he told them about Naksu in their teens she would not have been an Assassin. Hence in S2 he found out she was Naksu and planned to do what he thought was right. However due to the blood worm he failed. If anything he went to Jin Mama to give them more time. He kept the secret to spare JU the pain if she dies quietly as discussed with Master Lee. Seo Yul is consistent with his character. He thinks he is doing things for the greater good but his vision is not as vast as he thinks
Man, I really want to know what CP is planning, because Jin Mu's eventual downfall is going to be so, so sweet
They are after the entire cult. The very same that have been shifting bodies. Like Jin Mu said: Jang Uk so readily agreed to go to the North. Since when has Jang Uk been so obedient. Rather CP and JU are working together. Jang Uk also told BY he will be back earlier that expected
Im on board with this theory.....it makes sense!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdMdx_0C_pk&ab_channel=dramafan
Not quite. The CP is already on UK's side. If anything he is not just after Jin Mu but their entire cult. Notice how they practically fast forward his scenes with Jin Mu. One thing i am certain of is CP will be king
I laughed like crazy at the end of episode 8, not because i was happy but i was mocking myself and the writers. That is exactly how i thought this episode would end. Uk seeing the soul shifter mark in her eyes. At this point happy it is ending. Bring it on. Whatever disappointment i have, i always remember to be grateful the drama exists. That is better than it never existing. Will keep chanting this in my head during the finale. So thank you to the writers, actors and production team.
Who knows that might help Naksu remember faster and she’ll have a chance before BY could fully take over her…
Yes, this. Naksu's soul with have silently perished. But thanks to Heo Yun-ok she may have saved Naksu. Hahaha. My blood was boiling in all her scenes today.
Park Jin was still Park Jin. He is a good leader. Frankly I felt the pressure of his words. Had Uk fought in also meant bringing the lives of all the mages fighting with him into battle
can someone tell me if song hyekyo's acting is decent in this drama? i've been following her works ever since…
The perfect role to hide her limitations. So yes, she is decent in this one. And even before it aired, I had a hunch she would be. The writer knows how to make her characters shine
A question out of curiosity for the people who watch ongoing dramas. Why? Why not let it finish, and while waiting,…
I find there are two types of dramas. The type you watch weekly and the type you binge. Personally I find emotionally heavy or thought provoking dramas are best watched weekly like My Ahjusshi or Lost. Too draining to binge that. Then the other type is best to binge to keep the momentum like AOS or Happiness. Frankly, if I had more self control I would have waited. But my phone has spoilers everywhere. And discussions are better when watching live
Wt other good kdramas y'all watching while waiting for AOS 😶
I hope to get into Glory. Truthfully I am a mess. Cannot get into another drama. So watched Singles Inferno. The last time this happened to me was last year Happiness. I normally binge one drama, and watch 2 currently airing dramas simultaneously. But when that one all consuming drama comes, it puts everything else on hold
Assumptions is the mother of all f*ckups. Will no longer speculate or stress myself. Show is ending next week que sera sera. However will certainly let my thoughts known after I have watched the remaining episodes
Also someone mentioned below if JBY's soul still exists, there must be a reason. I think Naksu at least will survive at the end of the show.
Like a cat has 9 lives. She has two souls.
Whatever will happen in the end. If they have to perform that rain ritual I think JBY will die and Naksu will live.
It is Uk I am concerned about at the moment
