It was so obvious they were most likely pulling the same stunt when they chose not to open his studio even when it was clear hidden love was about to blow up from reuters/high reservations. all through hidden love's massive popularity, they kept his content restricted to gramarie's weibo page so his fans would have to follow gramarie and in the process promote the rest of their artists/bring visibility for their artists to czy's new fans. bts do the same with jungkook. exo did it with baekhyun. it's a known strategy.
gramarie uses czy to boost their company & artists. if they're also indeed holding him back by not further promoting him, he must know it by now so if he's still choosing to stay then I really don't know anymore.

saw this one reliable acc on twitter say he may have recently signed a new 1 year contract with 🥝, and that grammarie should expire nov this year (10 years since debut) could be unfounded rumors or assumptions, i dont think anyone knows for sure

i'm pretty sure iqiyi decides and agrees on the production team for their dramas. this ceo is honestly just as much at fault for signing on an amateur production team with no prior solid experience especially for a war/ptsd related drama, also for a leading artist like czy that has been under them for almost 10 years now (they do the bare minimum wheres he's concerned, any other actor would have gotten a better team) gong yu is not free of blame here why are we thanking him
SF4 didn't have good performances by any of the actors and actresses except CZY but the direction and screenplay…
hmm I thought the supporting actors & actresses in sword & fairy were okay tbh. all performances & the plot kept me interested. billing issues & her beast fandom & company aside, i believe it could have been a very successful drama.
