Loved the writing in this show! pleasantly surprised and also confused as to why this isn`t more known in the BL sphere. Loved Gio. Wish the terrible characters like phillip and dominic's mom had more consequences or at least a semblance of a redemption arc after their horrible behaviour and actions.

the best parts of this show are when the two of them are alone together. The dialogue and their chemistry is top notch. Serious kudos to the scriptwriters and ohm and nanon for such good acting. But I don't like the corny gang rivalry.

This drama was okay at best. Some things just didnt make sense to me. The acting wasn't all that good from the 2 main leads, everyone else was pretty good

lol i wonder why they keep doing that whole different countries thing when they know that in the end its gonna be popular vote and the other countries' contestants will be paid dust. Would never join a show like this if I was in J group or C group. Not surprised but still disappointing. Anyways at least they got themselves out there and people know who they are now. I feel like popularity contests like this would be so much more fair if all of the contestants were unknown or at least mostly unknown. I would suffer terribly from imposter syndrome if I was one of these contestants with preexisting fans or popularity.

also this show had one of the best if not the best “fall in arm” scene ever. Most times it’s awkward in other dramas I feel like and just annoying to watch but the main couple had nice chemistry.

An ok short and sweet show, binged it in one night. One thing I don’t understand though is why eun gyu ask hae won if he wanted to be his brother before they kissed. Also the guy with the mullet looks a lot like the second male lead from True beauty played by hwang in yeop lol. I did a double take everytime I saw him. Had to skip some parts about the love triangle cause it was unnecessary and boring.

And to me it seemed like gi hun survived until the end quite literally out of pure luck. Ik this is different from Alice in Borderland considering the games aren’t necessarily won by wit and smarts but at the same time his luckiness was just so unbelievable to the point of being miraculous. Like god wanted him to win or something. It’s actually crazy how many times he was so close to dying but he didn’t.

When i first completed this I commented that I didn’t know what to say and I really didn’t. I’m usually really opinionated about everything that I watch but I didn’t feel much while watching this and now I know why. I think it’s because this show was very predictable. And as some else pointed said, I also wasn’t attached to the characters and wasn’t really invested in them. I still think this show is worth watching. BIG TRIGGER AND CONTENT WARNING TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO WATCH THIS. There is a lot of onscreen dying and gore so please be aware.

This is uh… definitely a product of its time. It sort of has the corny old school charm of a disney original movie but with all the kdrama tropes. I’m on ep 9. I don’t think I’ll continue but I may pick it up every now and then when there’s nothing else. None of the male leads are really likeable. I especially hate raging misogynist Yi Jung and big man baby Jung Pyo. But I have a soft spot for Lee min ho.

Had to drop. The age gap is too fucking weird and idk how anyone can sit through that. I thought goblin guy would actually leave korea and there would be a time skip and he would come back to eun tak being older but that didn’t happen. And it doesn’t help that eun tak always has that weird baby voice (and ik that shit is fake cause I’ve seen her actress in other dramas where she doesn’t sound like that which makes everything 10x more unsettling) and the height difference was definitely intentionally done by the casting directors…ew. Oh and she also acts really immature and childish for an 18 y/o. Like that scene where they go to Quebec was like watching a reserved father and his day out with his hyperactive daughter but romanticized. Just so insanely weird. Grim reaper guy though was the best part. I would continue watching and skipping just for his parts but I’m too lazy. Fingers crossed that there’s a sunny x grim reaper cut somewhere.

I should have clarified that I didn’t sleep during it, I went to sleep after it and that only says something cause I have trouble sleeping. It was like visual and auditory melatonin.

That was the corniest, lamest bullying I done ever seen. Episode was way too short for the amount of time and plot it covered. The best part for me was the kiss. The ending was slightly cringey. It was cute but also just very tropey but I didn’t expect much different. Interested to see what the other pairings have in store
